Everything looks so much better in general. The design for mommy long legs is cute but also terrifying given the context. The way that she moves is uncanny. And in puzzle-wise, it seems like there’s going to be more puzzles and they’re going to be more complicated.

I love the inspiration this game takes from 90’s-2000’s toys. Like obviously the first chapter had it too but toys like huggy or poppy have more the general vibe of that era of toys. I don’t think I could make a direct comparison to any single toy, but I took one look at that rubbery pink thing and went “oh that’s a Betty spaghetty doll”. Which is a very fun realization to come to

You can tell this chapter is going to feel more like what the full game is going to be like. In my opinion the first chapter felt more like a tutorial, which I think it’s kinda meant to be. So I’m really excited for this

I'm not usually big on what's been coined as "Child-friendly horror," but this game is genuinely really unsettling and well-done. Kudos to the team for all the hard work.

@@davalinchishorts The children's videos that they make are actually really solid, too, though! One look at the titles and thumbnails definitely give off the impression of low-effort YTKids garbage, but they're actually well-animated, fully voice-acted, and genuinely funny at times.
These people are masters at taking ideas that immediately turn people off and making them genuinely appealing. Major props all around.

It goes to show that sometimes the scariest things are ones that don't appear to be so at first glance. Poppy Playtime really seems to have a strong understanding of that with Huggy Wuggy and what we've seen of Mommy Long legs.

I love that the creators are really leaning into what makes some toys so genuinely unsettling for this franchise - the character designs and the way they move and talk are so perfect. Really looking forward to this.
Look into MOBGAMES recent allegations. It's kinda upsetting. Out of all these glamorous designs they did with the game, it surely hides a scummy past. The game had potential, but the creators are not it.

@@-Apothecary- I think they did good honestly. Her face is clearly the flexible plastic, the same as her limbs. And when she talks there’s a subtle stiffness. Which shows that although her plastic material IS flexible, it also has limited movement.

Nobody is talking about just how huge this enemy has the capability to be. If that IS the same Huggy that fell off the bridge and not a small figure, then take into consideration that the Huggy that chased you is about 2 times taller than you. The new enemy's hand grabs it like a small doll. She could easily crush your bones to powder with a single hand. This is far more dangerous than Huggy, with her stretchy arms and legs.
Edit: War in the comment section over a theory. Great...
But if you look at the floor tiles that Hugy was lying on, they are regular sized, meaning that this is just a small doll

Meh, i think that its just toy since the actual Huggy Wuggy would be damaged and its teeth would be showing but is in good condition and its just smiling, also the tile would need to be giant if its bigger then huggy's head but if i am wrong and it is the real huggy then.....

0:55 if you pause at the right moment, you can see he’s being chased by a purple caterpillar looking thing. Also, it appears to be coming out of the ceiling, so maybe it’s whole mechanic is it’ll surprise attack you from the ceiling.
Also, a little pass 0:55 you can see multiple versions of Huggy Wuggy coming out of holes in the wall. Including the original one, which means he’s still alive. Which also suggest that Kissy Missy is somewhere in the game even if she’s not the main enemy.
I don’t think your right about Huggy Wuggy. In the part where you saw Huggy Wuggy, there wher 2 blue ones, 2 yellow ones, and 1 pink one. I don’t think this is the Huggy Wuggy that fell. I bealive these are the plushies. Also, when Huggy Wuggy is moving, his mouth is opened. These ones mouths are closed. I know Huggy Wuggy’s mouth was close at the start, but that was when he was “in active” I also don’t think Kissy Missy will do much. I think fans just made her popular even though she is from a picture.

The new mommy character at first I thought wasn’t going to scare me but after taking a few extra looks… yeah she’s gonna be real creepy I can already tell. And something tells me Huggy Wuggy isn’t out for the count just yet which I can’t wait for! As the name of the chapter implies, I’m willing to bet there will be sections of this chapter where we will have to evade her, not exactly run but avoid otherwise instant death. Ooo my mind’s just racing with possibilities!

It's incredible how the monsters look so incredibly organic, how their animatnions don't even really look like animations, because of how seamlessly they move. I agree about chapter 1, Huggy Wuggy's attack through the vents has to have been one of the most terrifying chase scenes I've ever seen! I'm interested in facing down "Mommy", my personal guess is that she'll be an entirely new threat, probably relying more on traps, snares and cunning to corner us, rather than large size and brute strength like Huggy. Based on the imagery of her dragging Huggy around, I think it's heavily implied she's in a whole other league of dangerous compared to our previous opponent, and a box to the face won't be quite enough to get the best of her. As a final thought, it's interesting how Poppy seems to be wary of "Mommy" as well; makes me question who's the worst threat. The fact that "mommy" wants to play also seems to imply she's not just a warden like Huggy, but something just as dangerous as Poppy, waiting to lure unsuspecting prey. Maybe we'll even have to cooperate with Poppy, in a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" type scenario, since neither of us will alone have what it takes to survive "Mommy" for long.

I love how she looks like she can be played as a toy while still looking creepy af. I think the developers must've had a difficult time balancing the cuteness of toys mixed with the creepiness you feel when playing with your dolls while making "Mommy long legs", as the fans put it lol.

i dont think they balanced it out as well as they could have, like they did with huggy. it kind of reminds me of fnaf, and how the animatronics struck a perfect balance. then the toy animatronics came and leaned too much on the cute side. that's the same with this, it just doesn't look scary unless they change it up later to make it more horrifying.

I honestly can't wait. And I feel like Matpat's theory (and many others) of poppy not being a villain is true based off the lines said by her in this trailer. Super hyped!

Yeah I think that too. The trailer for chapter 2 and project playtime came out after the arg was finished and it took about 2 months for those arg’s to finish and we are over 1 month through the arg. I think we could see a gameplay trailer within mid to late September

Sadly the creators are very skummy and try to get as much money out of us as possible. They abuse their success. They even sell parts of the story through NFT's adding up to 90$. And they use the most expensive business model. Selling chapter after chapter. 5$ for a 30 Minutes demo!
