4:32 I once saw Portal 2 for like $2,50 on Steam, and I was like, "I'd be crazy not to get that game, it's such a good game and it's never gonna be this cheap again!" I was convinced I had to get it, and in the end the only thing that stopped me from purchasing it right then and there was the fact that I already had bought and played the game years ago.
you know, that argument about predatory stuff in games i guess the difference is that back then it wasnt so brazen, like, it was a whole expansion to a game you could argue it was complete, extra stuff, not missing stuff, or the pokemon stuff being like a "trade with your friends" thing, what i mean its that there was some sort of honey in the catch that made it easier to swallow and not just "spend mony cause we want more mony" even if its technically the same it doesnt feels like the same
Hey Jeff, not really sure where to ask this, but I'm saving my spotlight keys for beta Ray Bill because he seems fun, but because of it I'm wondering if I should still just buy nico cause she's good or if werewolf would be better in a beta Ray bill deck. Love your vids I hit infinite for the first time after learning from you 😁
I'm not Jeff, but Nico is great in a many number of decks, super versatile... WWBN is also a great card, but if I had to choose an order itd be Nico then WWBN
Nico is probably the best use of your tokens in the current game. She goes in so many decks and has such a wide array of abilities. Highly encourage grabbing her unless you have your eye on a specific archetype defining card.
Jeff loves the decision paths and variation that comes from Niko so possibly over rates her a little. With that being said I think the change of warewolf to 4 energy really really reduces his viability especially in a deck with Beta, Thor and lady thor. You are going to be putting beta ray bill as consistency into a classic lockjaw big stuff deck with lady thor is my guess. that being said Niko works amazing with the hammers because most of her abilities work great with cheap cards with powerful on reveals.
The 2nd match was little suspect. They blind sniped your Iron man when there was a perfectly fine dazzler in the middle. Sure it would hit their Zabu too but they already played their meaningful 4 costs so it wouldn't matter.
The whole "its a sniper" thing is getting a little annoying to my taste. If I remember the game correctly the hands were going to be swaped next turn so it was last turn to play enchantres. The other cards which were unplayable as we see after the swap - sentry and Hood which would give your oppponent 1/6. Dazzler isnt that scary cosidering the hand we are givin. And we know for sure that this turn something will be played on left (because of location). So the only big play you got will be played this turn on left. Thus enchantes left was good call. Small anegdote - i remember meeting a popular streamer (whos name i rather no reveal) on ladder. He played sera control. I lost priority on turn 5 and there was location - whoever has least power here wins. I kept in mind legion for turn 1. On turn 6 i said to myself okey i Lost priority the only way He wins is by legion. I make an optimal power play, will not lock it and wait If He snaps. If He snaps that means He has legion and than i will reverse my play and do nothing. He snaped, i snapped back reversed my play and did nothing. He played legion and Lost 8 cubes. Next day i checked his stream because I wanted to see the gameplay from his perspective - i was being called garbage human being because of sniping by him and his chat followers. The moral of the story - on high infinite there are people who can think and they will expect your smart plays as well. If that happens it doesnt mean they are sniping its just they understand the game on a level which let them predict things. If the streamer didnt snap me on 5 with winning priority with sera deck i wouldnt make that play. But the snap was a tell.
To address both of your replies the opponent may have identified the deck as a patriot list (Can't be hit monkey list because they pigged Valk) list and they know Jeff has to play patriot this turn if he has it in hand. In that case it's logical to play enchantress right because Jeff has prio, or take the safe bet and hit the Dazzler while moving the wolf mid and keeping the option open for moving him left if need be Or just play for mid and right. It was a bad enchantress play that paid off. Hence it looks sus.
@@grapie93 i wouldnt recognize the one guy in 1000 that plays Patriot ;p it just not a thing a have to worry about. And I definitly never play around topdeck answer with swapping hands location.
@@jakubskonieczny5750 I see wasp and mysterio together, I default to patriot. The opponent might just have made a bad play or forgot that dazzler is an ongoing. and that's about it. It's just that they didn't go for the visible target to get value out of their enchantress that bothered me.

As someone who is quite bad as this game this deck has enabled me to hit all my goals this season. Valk has stole me sooooo many cubes. Thanks Jeff!!

Nico is my favorite card in the game, but I also expect Wolf will enjoy chasing hammers around the board with Billy.

There was nothing sus about it you’re ignoring the fact that werewolf was in play on turn 5. Not everything is a potential cheat in this game
