Hi can you help, I am a previous dragon user and my speech impediment has increased can you clarify whether the software or processing or the recognition is local or server? Further does it happen on the wireless device itself or is it accompanied by Philips proprietary software? Lastly would that software be the same whichever Philips device you purchase?
Does it require Bluetooth capabilities on a laptop? Or can it be used with a dongle like device (often used with wireless mouses)?? I m a family doc and really interested in this device..
can i use any of the buttons on the mike to start and stop the dictation on the dragon software? i think dragon has settings listen for dictation while holding some shortcuts on the keyboard. it would be nice if i could hold one of the buttons in the mike to achieve that. By the sound of the mike it looks like it is a dynamic microphone that is the reason that audio seams compressed and the reason for that I think is to reduce noise.
