Hello please help! What kind of method is this? I have an industrial workshop that produces smoke How can I do this? Can I use a stove instead of a candle? My job is too polluting.help
actually just explain from what u learnt in physics. Basically the smoke gains heat and rises due to decrease in density. It creates a temporary vacuum in the candle area and as the cold air from surroundings sinks of increased density sinks, it occupies the space previously occupied by the smoke. This causes a convection current as the cooler gains heat and rises again.

The Cambridge workbook has a very similar setup to this(pg 96)
It is a classic experiment
Wow
this experiment is also in learning elementary physics pg: no. 91 fig 5.29

Air is heated and takes the smoke with it. Gas expansion ❤️
@@animatedsci Is the smoke neutralized or purified?Or does it just spin or flow?
Just flows out that is all.
