This is a very enchanting villa and property! 7:27: "... cement steps ..." - One friendly piece of information I'd like to share with you, Danilo, about using the word "cement" to describe concrete. I worked in architecture for nearly 40 years so I know you cannot use the word "cement" to describe "concrete". Don't feel bad because this error is made by most people when describing "concrete" both on your side of the Atlantic and on mine. In fact those are "concrete steps", and not "cement steps". The reason being is that cement is an ingredient in concrete, not the final product. An analogy would be identifying a cake as "flour", which is only an ingredient in cake, just like cement is only an ingredient in concrete. Thank you for your attention on this matter! My soul is so firmly grounded in history and the charm of historical properties, but in spite of myself, I really like this one! I think it is a combination of the astounding views on the lake, and the many rustic details - from light fixtures to furniture to choice of stone in the walls - everything has been kept so simple and clean and yet warm in its rusticity. Who would not appreciate these finishes, or not want to spend time at this paradise? Really a pretty property!

I really like the large windows and all glass balustrade giving unhindered view over the lake. Outside is so rustic and charming and inside so modern and bright and airy. That pool needs a special mention. Beautifully designed property ! Great drone work and presentation as usual Danilo!
The villa is simply glorious! The impeccable stonework, woodwork is beyond superior. The modern yet classic and traditional style adds that timeless appeal. Favorite features are the 2 fireplaces that are in the living and primary bedroom they are EVERYTHING romantic and comforting. The glass walls throughout bring in the sunlight with an open airy vibe. The veranda is the perfect spot to dream many dreams..The neutral color palette is peaceful and sets the tone of the rooms superbly. The pool is masterfully designed for the ultimate splash of refreshing. Out of this world views of the lake and surrounding vegetation. Thanks Danilo and your team for this tour of palatial posh!!!
Totally neutral color palette is amazing, and I like to imagine a single cornflower blue (or carmine red) vase in the main living area. A minor tip...in one spot the windows looked dirty at the close up, would want to be careful with that, I'm guessing you noticed it but only at editing when it was too late to re-film. This property, because of its stark simplicity, immediately reminds me of a cloistered monastery. It is super clean and simple while at the same time devoid of any warmth. This would be a nice weekend getaway but full time living it is too plain.
Really like the interior of this property. However, Interior decorators did not pay much attention of the greasy dirt a gas cooker leaves behind each time is used. Gas cooker is placed in a big open space and without smoke extractor over it. Big mistake.
It looks good ! BUT ! Where is the laundry ? There does not seem anyplace to wash my clothes. There is no storage or pantry in the Kitchen . There is no vent over the cooktop . There is no protected parking . These are basics .
This is almost ruined by the open plan bathrooms, which have to be the absolute worst and least practical design trend. It makes it unusable if someone else is sleeping. What exactly is the point of this?
Beautiful location but interior design feels a bit cheap, almost Ikea-like in appearance . Subtle and modern design can sometimes veer into a cheap looking outcome
Gift me the Sorrento Peninsula. This is absolute trash--it's too cramped and small, has no direct access to the lake, and has no interesting places close to it. Sardinia has beautiful beaches, Amalfi doesn't have spectacular beaches, but still has access to the ocean. Lake Como is close to Milan. Lake Maggiore is close to St. Moritz and Chamonix. Lake Guarda isn't too far from Verona and Lugano. I believe all are better options.
Pardon me, but how do you see this place as "cramped"? Genuine question - it seemed quite airy and of a fine size for the pleasant use or even residence for quite a few differing people's lifestyles. I am just curious as to what you would see as... not cramped? Please, and thank you 🙂
