@@D3L3T3 nope I have 3 pairs of Kobe 8s and the Kobe 9 was definitely an improvement. Kobe 9 is probably greatest traction of all time. I would take Kobe 9 low elite or engineered mesh over Kobe 8.

idk why I thought of this but if someone needs to hear it then here. Sometimes you needa walk away from something you love for a time to realize how much you love it. I did that with basketball and now I love it more than I ever have before
So I know ima get hate for this under this video, but I just copped some shoes that I’m in no way are sayin is better than the Kobe 8 but I think might be comparable fr. If anyone gets the time check out the Delly 1 by peak that came out back in 2016 and tell me it don’t have similar specs as the Kobe 8 .

These were my favorite hoop shoes ever. I'm glad they're protroing them. Early pics of the protro's also looks like they made improvements, specifically to the tongue. It looks to be a padded tongue now, instead of just the thin fuse tongue back then.

It was at this moment I had realized that I was going to hate on this man not because it’s in my nature to hate but because I only have two colorways of the Kobe 8 systems. Closest interms of looks, performance to a kobe. Copping as much colorways I can. Vanessa renewed the contract but with the resale market you can't get pair for retail or a reasonable price. That's why I'm going ham on these 20s.

I loved hooping in the Kobe 8s back in the day...I did tear my ACL in them though and that was probably partially due to the lunar bottoming out. Could have also happened in any shoe though, was just something I noticed afterwards, pretty big dents in the toe areas

Nobody needs them, now there is wade 808 3 ultra. Which will be head and shoulders above. There is an insole from BOOM. Lunarlon loses its properties very quickly. The reissue will be released with rеact foam. Without zoom, it also does not work and also loses properties. The best Kobe sneakers are 5, 6. And 8 only in the elite version. In the elite version, phylon foam and two zoom inserts.
I need them! Also, mentioned how the foam will decrease over time and that I’ve been hooping in sneakers with Zoom underfoot. Doesn’t take away from the shoe being ahead of it’s time and still a great performer. I also have the elites. You must be new here.
