I love Sedaris! I met him in person a while back and he is so insanely funny and there when you speak to him. Perhaps the funniest person on the planet in many ways.
Damn, I miss this show. Until I went a binge of funny Sedaris vids brought me here just now, I didn’t realize how much I miss Secretariat and Geoff. There’s your buddy road comedy. Sign me up for presale tickets to “Secretariat and Geoff.”
Amy talks in another interview about talking David into a pair of expensive Agnes. B pants that were cut weird and zipped up the back. Now I'm wanting to know how many pants total she has ill advised him to purchase and what they look like, a little too much.
He's from Scotland. He's a comedian and I think he started out in entertainment as a drummer in a punk band in the UK. First time I ever saw him was as a funny character on "Red Dwarf", a British comedy, and later as the boss on "The Drew Carey Show". Craig has also written some really funny books about his youth living in Scotland, back when he did a lot of drugs and booze. He's been clean and sober for decades now.

+ilikethisnamebetter - No, you represent a per capita. Statistically there will be other people like you. I am not one of them. I enjoy his goofy, unpretentious and relaxed humor. David is somewhat pretentious and uptight. While he is funny, his humor is controlled and not relaxed. Amy is relaxed.
I'm wearing a very similar outfit right now, khaki pants, a tan button up vest with lapels, and a long sleeve white v-neck that's actually vintage military underwear from 1960s Germany. Different shoes though, mine are hot pink glittery clogs. I'm a tall chick with no curves so men's clothing fits me best and it's comfy. My voice is lower than David's, and I get called "sir" and "bro" often. I'm a bit jealous that he get's called "sweetie", I haven't been called that since I was five!
At one of his book signings I met Mr. Sedaris...he was so nice and complimentary and of course hilarious. Such a huge fan.

Just started reading Davids books so looked up. Big surprise here is how good Craig Ferguson was. Now big fans of both!
Two of my favorite people!!!! Thank you for sharing!
If I could go to Japan with Amy and David, my life would be complete!
May I go,too?
@@marciasloan534 me too I'm very small, I could fit into a suitcase
would love to see a fun documentary of Sedaris and Craig go to Japan together! do it!!
yess!!
S Lee Now bear with me here: a documentary of them shooting a buddy road comedy in Japan! I’d pay good money for both those movies.

Miss this show
Why did this go off the air!
PBS should have picked it up.
So good! BOTH of these men! Hilarious!
Craig destroyed the cargo shorts argument with, "It's comforting to have pockets."
That is so true.
Let's Explore Diabetes With Owls!! OMG, I'm reading that now!! (well, it's in my stack of 15 or so books of "what to read next" )
I hope Craig DID go with David the next Japanuary.
japanuary with amy, david, and craig is my new heaven
When I lived in scotland, everyone was fastidious about trash and recycling and stuff? Super clean
So funny. "Pockets make a man feel like he's got options."
I love pockets, more the merrier. I had pockets in my shoes once, held a few nickels just in case.
I love David.
I told my hubby to be prepared to to give me the Heimlich with my Starburst while listening to this :)
I'm guessing they never went to Japan together. David never said yes after several self-invites from CF.😄
Jen M my God, can you blame him? I think he did well to put up with his company, for as long as he did!!! 😖
@@suzitee8225 (???) craig is great, and If David didn't like him he would not be his friend or in his show so many times
This is television magic.
Craig is hilarious. He really carried this conversation.
HE JUST SAID HES WEE LMAO

Stomp out cargo shorts!!!🙌 Yes!😂
The drunkenness in Londan has probably a lot to do with the weather. I know, I live in Western Washington. Although I think weed works better.
Who is Craig Ferguson? is this somebody in the U.S. ? Never heard of him....then again ...I eschew TV if that's where it comes from.

kooky boooo-k
This is funny but he is basically quoting his book.
So luv every interview if Sedaris is in it. Even if the interviewer is sub-par.
Ferguson can’t keep up
nah, i actually thought he carried it this time. respect them both.
He (the Scottish fellow) has to be the most irritating, unfunny, person on 📺. All the funny, charming people on earth, and this guy gets the job? 😦😐
Is it just me that finds Craig Ferguson very annoying?

Alternatively, he's hilarious, brilliant, and has a refreshing dislike of pretense and BS. But to each his own, and all that.

+VideoMenu disagree any pretentiousness is in you
Craig can be so modest and accommodating but here? pretty competitive and yes, annoying
for a gay guy who claims to be so urbane, Sedaris is dressed terribly here
No, he isn't.
He claims to be awkward - which he is. His boyfriend is the Urbane one.
I love his outfit lol
D**B A**!!! He lost his suit

Tired of listening to phony laugh tracks to bolster Sedaris " humor"
