I have some gnome figures laying around somewhere. Not sure if there are any armies currently available for them but TTCombat and Mantic both have halfling armies out right now I think.
Yes, my favorites are the two halfling armies and the Pied Piper army. Also need to put up my Stirland army, ogre army, and anti-skaven army but I've run out of steam, maybe on Christmas break.
+K. W-Z. Thanks, I've tightened up the color theme, added more, and had some refurbishing done so the army looks a lot better now. I am going to put up another video in maybe June, have to come up with a storyline and wait for a hundred halflings from the Stonehaven kickstarter to come in (and now it looks like the Westfalia kickstarter too) to come in and be painted. If you want to look at some of the newer stuff I picked up I made some small 2 minute videos showing stuff I've added (you can see some of what the competition has out there....though I am sure you already know). You know if I was able to buy ten to twenty of the handgunners now, my painter could have them done in time to send you a picture for the kickstarter :)
Absolutely stunning! What a collection... probably worth a small fortune! I've messaged you a link to the latest unofficial halfling rule book.. with loads of new units and fluff
There is a local player I am hoping to find and play a game against. The two armies would look great in the same video. One of his units has a huge table in which the dwarves are fighting the battle on table top (like the generals do in some of the WW2 movies) using warmaster figures. I think he has a bathroom unit, a strip bar, and a cheering section....can't remember for sure.
Cocklegriff? Very cool! Just went to check them out. Ordered a few militia to see if they are compatible with my own! Thanks for the heads up. The undead ogre would fit in well with my halfling vampire counts army! Will have to order one if this first order turns out well.
Ha. Yeah - I could have been a bit more specific. This one was on Scrib'd - by a guy called Mathias Eliasson. It would be a laugh to play as a Halfling army but you're right, I couldn't imagine it being a competitive army.
Eventually, though I am also looking at playing Armies of Arcana with them. AoA has an official halfling list and tends to lend itself to more balanced games.
I did the same with them in my Stirland Mercenary Contingent Army (on youtube). There is a metal unit with the old Citadel (GW) figures that were taken over by Foundy, and then the far right unit is the new plastic chaos warriors without the chaos markings. I was going with the Conan the Barbarian look.
I have it. Haven't gone thru it. Until recently played at a Games Workshop Battle Bunker so I used the Citadel Journal version (official though obsolete). An added benefit is the Mordheim list included Perusing the Mathias version it looks 'perty good', though it has a few things I don't care for. Have you seen my halfling vampire counts army? Two other interesting places to go to: HALS (halfling army lovers) yahoogroup and Battleforge miniatures....very cool line of halfling models!
majesticfeet1 Rightyhoo, ;) I've four regiments almost completed to date.My next regiment after that will be a 20 strong Cavalry unit.I'm also working on a Gnome Army, probably going to merge them like in the 2nd edition Army list for Baragin Hogweeds avengers.Heavy troops will be a Battallion of Giant Eagles & Treemen. s720.photobucket.com/user/ATOMTAYLOR/library/ATOMs%20Halfling%20Army?sort=3&page=1
Atom Taylor Very cool Atom! I see a lot of your figures are on the small circular bases, what game where they set up for? Here are two other halfling armies running around youtube: th-cam.com/video/jnICCZ3lMfo/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/boZT86i5HPE/w-d-xo.html
majesticfeet1 I initially planned two Halfling Regiments on skirmish bases, that's why they were on circular bases. My skirmish MDF bases had 20 MM circular holes. The bases weren't noticeable when on the regimental base and it looked good. I use them for AD&D too. I'll keep you posted with my progress, hopefully I'll be starting on my cavalry regiment next week. ;)
Atom Taylor Cool! As you can see in the video I haven't found a proficient way to move skirmishers around. I had some of the small bases years ago but haven't used them on any figures since then, What mounts are you using for your cavalry?
Thanks! It is larger now. Alas, they are all at home eating....Kings of War 3rd edition nerfed the halfling list and made it a human list so my guys are retired for the moment.
There are a few you can find on the internet. Some are pretty good. The army list in the Citadel Journal isn't too bad, however points need to be adjusted and one would need to take on an easy army to do well. :)
An Estalian army would be cool! Would that have mostly the Spanish helms? What does the Albion army look like....the only knowledge I have of Albion is the experience Felix and Gotrex had there.
Not sure, I really thought they would in the last book, an opportunity to sell halfling miniatures to a whole new group of players but alas they didn't. There are several other companies selling halflings though....the battleforge, and blackhat to name two.
Great army brother thanks for sharing. You should pick up the unreleased citadel halfling pimp from ebay he would be a pretty cool edition :) He pops up often. Anyways again great collection
Are you playing in a GW sanctioned setting? If not, have you thought about using historical figures for your Albion army....there are a lot of cool, new, cheap, plastic figures out. Of course if you are using Warlord games stuff for your Estalian army you probably already know that :) I'll take a gander at the fireforge figures when I get a chance.
The Fireforge Miniatures look more like middle age English or French rather than Spanish. Is that closer to the look you were trying for? I've seen these figures (the box) in the store and thought they looked cool but wasn't interested in the period. Since that time I watched the series: Arn The Knight Templar....fantastic, may have even changed my mind about the era!
Thank you Juan. At the moment there is not a current GW army list, and I have not found another game with halflings I want to play. Waiting to see what ArcWorld will look like.
Thanks for responding, I'm a fan of alternative hosts. More specifically Estalian and Fimir. If you know links to websites, forums, and videos, please send them to me. Thank you.
Juan Manuel Brea Rivera Metal figures that match Estalian design show up on ebay UK and probably the ebay site for Spain. Have you thought about using 28mm conquistadors? If you check the historical wargame companies you probably will find a lot and some should be in plastic. There is a game that in a miniature game but the regiments are on cards, they have fantasy orcs, elves, and so on. They also are coming out with conquistadors and aztecs, you might want to pick up the game it is fairly cheap and fast.
Juan I did a quick internet search, you can do the same, I tried 28mm miniatures Wars of Religion, 28mm miniatures 30 years wars, and conquistadores. These are the names of some companies I saw: Warlord Games, Eureka Miniatures (saw lots of praise for these minis), Gringos 40s, Brother Vinni's, Ceasar Miniatures, Foundry Minatures, Wargames Foundry (Eldorado line), Old Glory (French Wars of Religion) Good luck
+Nicholas Collier Kings of War now has a halfling army list so I've been playing a lot lately! There are a lot of halfling figures out there right now (4 kickstarters in the last 8 months!). I've put up videos of some of the figures (by company) that I have acquired if you are interested in building your army. Tag halflings are up on kickstarter now (49 hours to go....fantastic prices for starting a new army! Did you see my halfling vampire counts army video BTW? John
Just popped in after your comments on Arcworlde, I have a huge soft spot for Halfings, but nothing on your scale. A really colourful and fun looking army, well done. I'm sure you have a lot of fun with the army, do you have any success? As for rules I am member of a forum where one of the contributors make hobbyist rule books that fit 7th and 8th ed Warhammer, you might be interested in looking at: battlereporter.freeforums.org/halflings-f124.html
Thanks Seb. Did you see the undead halflings I have (warhammer halfling vampire counts army)? Both armies have grown since the videos, hoping to add another wing to the halfling army this year and find another set of rules to run them with.
Old world , i want to see a full Gnome army and halfling army
I have some gnome figures laying around somewhere. Not sure if there are any armies currently available for them but TTCombat and Mantic both have halfling armies out right now I think.
@@majesticfeet1 awesome , thanks man

Awesome! Gret job there! Congrats!
I would fight under the banner of the strawberry cake :)
Then it is time for you to buy some halflings! Fortunately there some great ones being produced now!
Would be great to see a battle report using this army.
Really - that's insane. Love all i see here. Cheers - kawe@Westfalia
+K. W-Z. Thanks, I've tightened up the color theme, added more, and had some refurbishing done so the army looks a lot better now. LOL loved the halfling in 2:35. A charming girl.
Thank you! She is a lot older and helps me do the battle report and kickstarter videos now!
Absolutely stunning! What a collection... probably worth a small fortune!
I've messaged you a link to the latest unofficial halfling rule book.. with loads of new units and fluff
Yes, half of it was on display at the Games Workshop Battle Bunker.

There's an unofficial Warhammer Halfling army list that might be fun to play. It be cool to see how it works in practice.
Have you seen this (unofficial) Halfling army book? www.scribd.com/doc/82631909/Warhammer-Halflings
Hi Luke, yes I have this book. I used it for the battle report I did about a month ago. I have a video up of it.

Nice work.Love my Halflings. I'm currently working on my own Warhammer Halfling Army.
Do you have pictures? Let's see 'em!

Yes, I will pop over to your channel and use the discussions tab.
Hmm. I can't seem to find a discussion tab on your channel.
we can talk with email?
