The Coming of Age Day celebration looked so beautiful! I’ve always admired the elegance of traditional kimonos-they’re just so timeless. And hearing about the January crowds made me nostalgic for my own travels before kids. If I won this camera, I’d use it to document my family’s everyday chaos and joy. My kids grow up so fast, and I want to make sure I capture the little things, like impromptu dance parties and messy craft projects. It’d be great to create keepsakes we can look back on together. Thanks for the opportunity and the video 💕
The January crowds and bustle brought a huge smile to my face. I love seeing the culture and those beautiful kimonos. It made me remember the wedding you went for last year it was hectic but fun I'd use the camera to document my family. Due to the financial we all still leave together but we're about to be going to college so I want to document our time together especially my little brothers and my dad. He's been down with stroke for a while and has recovering really well. I really want to record these days and moments of his recovery and our time with him. Thanks for another fun and amazing video❤
I'd use the camera to finally FINALLY document all the beautiful things I get to experience in this life so that I can keep a memory of those precious moments with my loved ones. Our grandparents used to take and develop photos, I want to do the same with videos so I can see the smiles, hear the laughters make those moments last forever 💫 (Btw you're truly an inspiration of the life I want to be able to live one day ! Thank you for your channel 🙌🏽)
That tanuki encounter was so cool! I love learning about animals that are totally different from what we’re used to seeing. And a Dog Cafe? That’s going on my travel bucket list for sure. If I won the camera, I’d use it to vlog my dog Mochi’s adventures. We hike, visit dog parks, and even try pet-friendly cafes. I’d also love to make videos educating people about adopting dogs and caring for them.
The debate about ketchup cracked me up-it’s one of those things that gets people really passionate. I for one, I'm pro-ketchup on pretty much anything. I’d use this camera to start a cozy food vlog, showing both my kitchen experiments and foodie adventures. I’ve always wanted to capture the process of kneading bread, frosting cakes, or even exploring local markets.
Oh Lord I can’t stand ketchup the smell alone. Can’t do it I avoided tomato’s for the longest thinking it would taste the same. Turns out I’m just dumb 🤣
I went to Kamakura around February last year and checked out the cafes I saw in your videos! I swear, if you started a tour guide company for Japan, people would be lining up. Girl, you’re not just a vibe-you’re relatable, funny, witty, and so humble it’s almost unfair. Not only that, but you’re also such a gorgeous human being, and I feel like if I ever saw you in person, I could totally approach you and say hi. You just have that warm, welcoming energy that draws people in!
I would not have had an answer for this last week but I literally just landed my dream job as a flight attendant yesterday (thank you god for this blessing and opportunity!) so I’d use the camera to document this new adventure and share my journey with my friends and family.
I love how folklore can give even a random encounter so much depth. And the way you talked about Kamakura made me want to book a ticket right now. If I won this camera, I’d use it to document my solo travels. I’ve been exploring hidden spots around Southeast Asia, and I'd love to be able to capture these memories.
Hey Sundai! The tanuki was absolutely adorable. I had no idea they were so special in Japanese culture, but now I want to learn more about them. And don’t get me started on Studio Ghibli-it’s my comfort zone after a long day. If I won this camera, I’d use it for vlogging. I currently make lifestyle and study vlogs it’d be such a big help with my channel. Currently I use my phone to film all my videos and having such an amazing camera will make filming so much easier and better footage too. Not to mention it’s so small and discreet that it won’t make me anxious carrying it around as introvert.
Hey Sundai! Since I moved to Japan in October the algorithm has been shoving your videos down my throat but I'm not complaining 😭. I love seeing Japan through your eyes, you're hilarious. If I won, I'd use the camera to make manga reviews. I love anime and manga and I'm finally in a country where I can buy them physically it's been a dream being able to fill my shelf! Thanks for the video
I’ve been a subscriber for sometime now and seeing how you navigate life as a black woman in japan truly inspired me. I’m studying abroad in tokyo from march to july and you’ve eased my family’s and I’s nerves about living across the world alone. I’d use the camera to document this once in a life time experience. I want to later look back at my memories or inspire other black girls to not be afraid of traveling like how i was before your channel!
I would use the camera to show my grandma my life in Japan. I’ve been living in Japan for a year now and I try to show my grandmother pictures and videos of my life here but I feel it still doesn’t do it justice. She recently just survived having a brain aneurysm and because she can’t come see Japan and my life here herself, I want to be able to giver her a month in my life or year in my life videos to show her the life I created here. It would be like bringing Japan to her 🥰 Btw, I love your videos! and I’m sure you know this but you are definitely a big inspiration and the definition of a successful driven black women ❤ thank you for always showing your lifestyle and creating the Sundai Love family ❤️💕
I’d use the camera to start my life all over again after illness. A few years ago I developed a neurological disorder called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia that bounded me into a wheelchair, I couldn’t walk, I had seizure after seizure and I lost everything from friends, my career and everything I built for myself. Working to walk again plus starting my life all over again from scratch & manage my symptoms has been one of the hardest challenges of my life but I keep my head up and I keep going because I want to Live!! I want to form new memories with my family again, take new pictures and help those who also have this condition. I want to continue to pursue my dreams which is continue my Art Channel on TH-cam and simply share my heart to the whole world. Ive poured blood sweat tears into physical therapy and I am strongly walking again and this is only the beginning of my journey to a new life ❤
So impressed by how talented you are! Your art is so colorful and surreal. Your story is very inspiring and insightful on how humans overcome their own adversities in life. I love how passionate you are and how you genuinely love art. Thank you for sharing your story, it was very heartwarming. Continue to have a beautiful life 💜😁✨
The Squarespace plug was perfectly timed-I’ve been procrastinating on starting my own website, and now I’m re-inspired. If I had this camera, I’d finally start my TH-cam channel a blend of tech and lifestyle. I’ve been itching to make videos comparing gadgets and showing how they fit into real life. The DJI Pocket 3 seems like it could double as both a subject and a tool for my first video
I cant get enough of the glimpse you give us of Japan without it being Tokyo! There is so much more to see, than what we are made to believe. I'd use the camera to capture my life as I am playing on moving countries this new year, you journey creating a life for yourself somewhere besides where you were born is truly inspiring
I’d use the camera to capture beautiful memories with my family. I am from Namibia, a beautiful country in Southern Africa. After losing my mother in 2021, i faced financial burdens and my sisters and i were mistreated by extended family immediately after our mom's death announcement. Whilst battling with surviving with my siblings, i came across a study opportunity in Japan in 2022. Torn between taking care of my siblings and grabbing the opportunity to come study, i came across your channel, wow Sundai, i came to Japan but couldn't afford to travel around, but through your chanel, my heart has experienced Japan virtually. My studies are about to end in March and off i go back to Namibia. I’d use the camera to capture moments and make up for the time i missed out with my family. One thing i'm happy about is that i have acquired vlogging and photography skills from you through your chanel . You are such beautiful soul 💜
I'd use the camera to document my time with my loved ones. My family life has been impacted by illness and cancer every year since 2019 and I simply don't have enough videos of my loved ones to go back to watch. I miss the sound of their voices and watching them smile. It would be amazing to be able to capture all this without sticking a phone in their faces.
I wish you the best in life and I know that you can beat cancer! I don't know what's it like to have cancer, though I've seen a relative who had it before, and yet beat it. I know that you can do the same; take it day by day and stand proud!
I'd use the camera for specifically two big uses: to start a TH-cam channel based on books and reading and to document my family. I work at a library part time and I've learned so much about readers and the lives they lead as well as the books and publishing world. I've also been taking photos of the little moments in my life and printing them for physical albums to hold onto. Having video footage of my family, pets, and garden would be so beautiful. Your channel has always been a big inspiration, Sundai! I totally support your cook book progress and await more news about it!
I’d use the camera to level up my TH-cam channels. I’ve been using only my iPhone to film, but unfortunately it runs out of battery and memory really quick, especially when I do my Traveling Vlogs. And yeah putting the mirror behind the phone to check if I’m in the frame or if it’s recording is also pretty tiring 😅 I’ve been to 65 countries and more to count and I have started to commemorate my journeys 5 years ago ❤ I wanna level up my filming skills, and be able to finally include more shots of me while traveling alone ❤ I’ve been dreaming about this camera for my TH-cam channel for a while but because I am yet to start earning from it I couldn’t dedicate budget for it. This would mean a lot ❤ Thank you Sundai for this amazing vlog and giveaways Love you, Lianna ❤
I’d use the camera for my anime skits. Like Sundai, I love anime ever since I was a kid-it’s always been such a huge part of my life! Winning a like this camera would be amazing because I’d use it to bring my passion to life in a whole new way. I’ve got so many creative ideas that I want to share with others, and a camera like that would help me capture the magic and energy I’ve always felt from anime. But what means even more to me is the kindness of Sundai. It’s rare to come across people who want to help others and inspire them at the same time. Not to mention her merch is fire.
I've built a habit of finding bits of joy in my daily life and I think that's why I enjoy your channel so much bc its a cozy space that invites me to see your daily bits of joy. In a period where everyone is so loud about how we're living in such dreaded times and how much life sucks im reminded of how the best artwork and creative pieces : vlogs ,music, movies, literature where all made during or based on some of the most turbulent time periods of the artists lives. We are transported into that moment of emotional turmoil and all of a sudden our perspective just got that much bigger and richer. I can only imagine what my grandchildren are told about the times we live in now, but I will ensure that lies to keep a pretty picture isn't all that's retold. I wish everyone could take the time and effort to document life as we know it now as this world we live in will one day be gone just as the past generations. Id use the camera to document my steps in finding bits of joy in this rough time, I don't just want to remember who got voted in and pain they caused, but , my last moments with lifelong friends/family and the smiles I was blessed enough to share with new friends.
Hey Sundai :) loved this vlog (as usual). I think if I were to win a new camera I'd use it to film music videos. Music videos were a favorite part of my childhood... it was kinda like where music came alive and I could watch choreography and flashing lights and just feel beautiful by watching other beautiful people on screen. I've always wanted to recreate the magic I saw in music videos so I'd probably do that. ❤💙thanks for the work you do. Sending love from NYC 🥂
Hi Sundai, I never comment😂 But I have been a subscriber for years and find it so comforting to see Japan since moving to Sydney. My family lives in Tokyo. I Lived in Tokyo for 20 years. Im in my 40s and ever since the cancer situation with my mum, it made me realise that life is really short, I am aging, and my mum is aging. So I try my best to go home to Tokyo almost every year and spend a good 1 month with my family. I love to document our trips and currently making a family movie for my them. Id use the camera to have better footage whenever I come home. My family and I love going to trips and I love doing my own trips as well. And I would like to capture it in such great quality. I would love for this camera to be an instrument of not just giving us a great footage of our times together, but also to give happiness and connection for our family. Thank you Sundai and keep up the amazing work👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I'd use this camera to document all the moments with my little boy. He's two and keeping me on my toes so having this will help me capture all his cute, funny, spontaneous moments without him grabbing my phone (which I use to take videos on) Ps. You're always such a vibe to watch ❤
I'd use the camera to capture the smallest moments in my life so that I can look back reminisce smile and see my improvements from there to that future 😊
I love ketchup on most things lol, so what you said about the ketchup made me laugh. I love the idea of exploring handmade jewelry and cozy cafes. If I won this camera, I’d use it to start a lifestyle vlog focused on cafe-hopping and books. I’ve been curating a list of hidden gems in my city, and this would finally push me to share them. It’d be amazing to capture the vibe of each spot, from latte art to bookish corners.
The part about food stalls and handmade jewellery hit home for me -- I make handmade jewellery. If I won this camera, I’d use it to promote my handmade jewellery business. I’ve been wanting to create videos showcasing my creative process, like designing and crafting each piece. It’d also help me film behind-the-scenes content to connect with my customers in a more personal way. Thank you so much for this opportunity, Sundai
Hey Sundai! I would use this camera to vlog and document my journey during my gap year! I have been planning to start my youtube channel and actually have a big travel video scheduled for March and a couple small ones comin gin february! right now I just film on my pone but a cemera would be very helpful! Aside from the giveaway I did want to thank you because I have always wanted to start my youtube channel but thanks to you I actually kicked myself in the butt to start. You have always been a great motivator the first video I saw of yours was when you were moving out of your apartment in tokyo and have been tuning in every sunday since! keep doing you girl because everyone else is already taken ;)!!
I’d use the camera to start vlogging again. The convenience of a small pocket camera would give me motivation to capture any and everything. It would help me regain my love for vlogging 🤍
Hai Sundai, I’ve been binge watching your videos like a new anime series 😅your channel not only motivates me to keep going with my channel but it’s keeps me in good spirits while on my healing journey! I’d use the camera to definitely up quality on my channel and make it more pleasing to the eye for videos because I definitely didn’t let me using my phone stop me but I’m sure it’s the main reason why I haven’t caught many viewers’ attention. I would love to win this giveaway would continue on no matter the end result! I definitely know what camera would be a good starting point from watching your videos ❤
Hey Sundai! I loved how chill this week’s video was. Kamakura is gorgeous!! 🎉 I’d use the camera to vlog my new life in China because I’m moving soon for work and want to share my experiences with family and friends and whoever else may be interested. I hope we all become more connected and loving toward one another and by actually seeing how other people live and beautiful places, people soften up and want to learn. Like you’ve been doing for years with Japan. Anyway love you boo thanks for doing these give aways 😆💜
I’d use the camera to document my new PhD journey; research locations, conferences, volunteer work, and potentially study vlogs if I ever get bold enough 😂
I feel really lucky to be able to see Japan through your eyes, the eyes of a black woman like me, someone fun and relatable. I love anime and the Japanese culture so it feels like a huge bonus to see it all through your eyes. If I got thre camera, I'd use it to get to love myself. I'm obese and I don't like what i see from my neck down I'm grinding this year to lose weight and I'd like to document my journey through pictures and videos. As i aim for a healthier life ansd body I don't want to forget how i was before because it's a part of who i am and it's shaped how I am now. I was thoroughly depressed at how few full body photos I have hopefully i can change that. Thank you for the opportunity and just being you.❤ And that racoon dog was so cute ❤but I'm a jumpy person so I'd have run as a first instinct😂😂
Loved seeing the coming of age celebration. Those kimonos were gorgeous! I have your blog saved for when I visit Japan someday (hopefully soon!). I'd use the camera to record family home videos again. One of my SMART goals (learn this from you!) is to record/take photos monthly of me and my family to create a personalized year in review video for us. One of my favorite things to do is to look back at our old footage and reminisce/learn something new about my family. Having footage to look back reminds me how I should cherish the present moment and my loved ones. It's too easy to get lost/overwhelmed with life so I'm making changes to focus on what's truly matters.
I'd use the camera to make memories on my study abroad this summer in Osaka and Kyoto. This has been a dream of mine since I was little watching Studio Ghibli films, and it feels surreal that it may come true this year. I always wanted to visit shrines, the manga museum, eat ramen, and try all the combini snacks but I didn't think it'd ever be possible until now. You've shown us that it doesn't matter where we come from but the drive and heart that matters. Worked hard on my application, hoping I'm chosen for the trip! sidenote- I've always been shy to comment but I love your videos Sundai! Been here for 2 years following your journey and watching you accomplish so many great things. You inspire me to stay motivated, healthy, and always bring a little happiness to my weekends. Thank you!
Sundai, I love your videossss!! I would use the camera to document my life as a college student. As I was preparing for college, while looking for school, I watched TH-cam videos to see the students' experiences. Not only was I not able to find many videos about the university I wanted to attend, but there was none done by black students on campus. So, coming into this PWI, I did not really know what to expect. I would like to use the camera to step out of my comfort zone by putting myself out there and hopefully be an inspiration to others like me. Thank you so much. Your channel has been a way for me to visit Japan through you (lol). Hopefully, one day, I will be able to visit
Hey Sundai I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me to become a content creator on TH-cam. I’ve been so scared about whether or not people watch my videos or subscribe, but you and many other creators on this platform have given me the inspiration with your content as the extra push I need thank you so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Hi Sundai ~ I’ve been a fan of your channel for years (back when you lived in Korea haha). I finally made the move to Korea myself and I always recommend your channel and mention that you are one of the pioneers for black women thriving in Asia. I’d use this camera to document my life in Korea (and in general) ❤ you’re a huge inspiration to me and I look forward to your next video !!
I’d use the camera to capture moments in my content creator journey and to document important memories with my loved ones, because family means everything to me! Uploading my first TH-cam video two weeks ago was a huge milestone-I finally got the courage to just go for it, listen to what I want, and be my authentic self. You are by far my favourite youtuber, I’ve been watching you for 6 years, and your journey has inspired me to start mine! This camera would help me stay motivated to continue building my goals and sharing my story. I’m really enjoying the road so far! You make my Sundays better! Your vlogs give me something to actually look forward to and i don’t spend Sundays dreading Mondays anymore😅 oh and thanks for another amazing vlog as always girl!🙏🏾🤎
Sundai !! I’ve been watching your videos for a long time now and I still get teary eyed watching you thrive. You are goals! I studied abroad in Japan when I was in high school and I want to live there some day permanently. That’s why I want to be a content creator. I would use the DJI to build a better life for myself . I’m from Detroit and went to college for Theatre but nothing has made me feel more passionate about life than creating content. That osmo pocket 3 is my dream camera . This would mean everything to me🥹. Love you Sundai! No matter what platform you’re on I’m always going to support you. So proud of you !
I'd use the camera to document my daily life/week as a digital diary. So many times I feel like life just passes me by and I feel like recording my day would let me follow my new years goal of being more intentional with my time and how I spend it! Thank you for hosting this giveaway sundai and always sharing your life with us!
Girl you are my motivation for keeping going cuz wtf is life rn lol but I always look forward to your uploads they always cheer me up and remind me that I can achieve anything I want and no dream is too big. So thank you for that! I usually don't enter giveaways but I happened to be talking about this camera just yesterday so I feel like it's a sign lol I'd definitely use this camera for my vlogs, I get camera shy in public so I get the weirdest angles that nobody asked for 😂 I love vlogging in cafes so that would be amazing! Anyways I hope you had a lovely first month of the year, can't wait till your next video ! lots of love from France 💕
Hi Sundai I always look forward to you Sunday videos. I really love your vibe. I am from Los Angeles myself and have always been obsessed with Japan. From Ramen to cherry blossoms. You really inspire me with your business mind and chill energy. I would use the camera to capture everyday stories here in Los Angeles and would like to start a channel like that to give back to people in need.
I'd use the camera to start a daily life vlogging channel. To show what I do in a day of a Native American. Whether it's just teachings or knowledge of my specific tribe. I think it would be really interesting to share
i would use the camera to vlog my life as an ALT in Amami Japan. Many people love to visit Okinawa but Amami is just as beautiful. I want to document it and show off the beauty of this small Japanese island. I also want to look back on videos I make as my time as an ALT in Japan.
I’d use the camera to capture my husband and I’s adventures moving to a new city. After several years of hospital stays, new diagnoses and endless testing for autoimmune disorders, I intend continue our incredible adventures and family time with loved ones as I am committed to celebrating every day The Lord has blessed us with together. Capturing these adventures digitally would be such a gift to enjoy later when I’m sick and during times of testing and hospital stays. Watching the love and joy and shared adventures would bring me continuous joy and a reminder of how blessed I am, even when life gets tough. Thank you, Sundai, for shining your light and sharing your journey; you are such a blessing to so many!
I’d use the camera to camera to document my Grandfather’s childhood and war stories from South Carolina as he’s getting older & is still sharp as a blade in his memory. I plan on Solo Traveling to Japan this year, alongside Panama City & Chicago too, so this allow me to catalog everything for him as well - seeing as he doesn’t leave the house anymore since my Grandma’s become disabled.
I am graduating from med school just like ur sister . I wana have an impact and guide people thru my journey I pray I can inspire and leave a mark in the world . That’s why I need the camera wana start documenting my hospital life and what I go through how to study and how to achieve some goals step by step . I really need this Sundai ❤❤❤
I’d use the camera to start a dance channel in SPANISH. As a Mexican American girlie, I have realized how healing it is for me to get in touch with my families roots in Mexico City. And I’ve started following more Mexican TH-camrs and I’m just really inspired to share my dance journey which is already a huge growth for me but to develop my expression in Spanish and what that looks like for me. Thank you Sundai for being a source of inspiration and joy to us all 💛💙
I’d use the camera to… record special moments-not just family function or outings with friends-but moments where I see new places such as going on a hike, visiting a new shrine in Japan(because I visits Japan very often). Those moments to me are special because it’s when I’m feeling the most absolute at peace. And to have it on video and not just reliving it in my head, will draw back up peaceful memories.
Sundai the highlight is you saying wait come back to the tanuki, thankfully something ate the treats you left. I’d use the camera to film for my share page and also give the camera to my sister to use for her TH-cam page. 2 uses for 1 camera. Have a blessed day❤
I’d use the camera to capture the moments that matter the most to me in my daily life. I don’t have a channel but I have a passion for taking photos. I’m always the one that is capturing candid moments when I am with my family or friends. I send the photos later after I’ve had a moment to look at them and choose the best ones and they always love the gesture. I love to capture the everyday details that can go unnoticed and I do this on my iPhone. I’m the person with 30k pics in my phone. A camera like this one would be an awesome thing to have. Having this camera would make it easier for me to tell a story through pictures with more clarity and creativity.
I'd use the camera to capture every single family function from now on. I just lost my beloved mother so suddenly that I am still trying to wrap my head around it and I've come to realize just how important it is to capture the precious moments in our fleeting lives. I also realized that video is far superior to photos because it captures our loved ones voice... their mannerisms. I learned this the hard way because I am not one to record and I need to change that. I'd also use it for my wedding in October because Videography is not the same as photography and they are both SO expensive!
I’d use the camera to start a channel on TH-cam, since I was 10 years old, I’ve wanted to start a TH-cam channel, but my insecurities, about not being pretty enough, not knowing how to film aesthetic videos, not having a professional camera, and so many others, always made me put that dream aside. But this year is my year, and I want to step out of my comfort zone and do what I love, regardless of what people might say or think.❤
I’d use the camera to film home mobility videos because I genuinely love helping others work out and feel good in their bodies from the comfort of their own homes-or any space that suits them. I often think about the equation of success you shared with us: what I can do + what I am called to do + what I am good at + a need = success. Growing up, I believed that fitness could only be achieved in a gym. But so many people put their fitness journeys on hold-or never start-because they don’t have access to a gym, whether due to financial constraints, distance, or gym anxiety as a beginner. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from your channel, it’s to follow my dreams and take action. Oh, and some of the best ramen spots in Japan
Hi Sundai! ☀️ Long time silent viewer here. I’ve been wanting the camera for a while and I’d use the camera to FINALLY start my a TH-cam journey and content creating (plus make more videos for my friends and family). It’s been VERY clear with how things are going that this is the year for me to start a TH-cam. I’m a little scared but hopeful 🥲 I love to travel I was in Japan last year but didn’t post anything(I’ll go again this year🤞🏾)! But you and a few other black women creators have woken me up and I need to start! Besides that thanks for your content I’m really motivated by seeing how much strive in all you do and especially how you prioritize taking care of your health. It has helped me a ton in the past year to get diagnoses and follow health plans. Thank you! Thank you! 🙏
Hey Sundai! I recently started watching your videos after being recommended to by a friend and I'm genuinely obsessed! I love how you combine cinematography with just being real and vloggy when you're talking to us in your videos😄! I just finished high school and decided to start a TH-cam channel before uni, and it's been so much fun filming life! I use my phone at the moment and it does as well as it can😊, but if I won, I'd use the camera to make better videos that show people how wonderful life can be with the right attitude yk? Just living can be so much fun and I'd like to help people see that, like you do :)
I would use the camera to vlog outside more!! I feel like recording outside of home can be so daunting with a bigger camera, even with an iPhone. I’d use it as an opportunity to be more comfortable making more diverse content😋😋
Ooo Sundai! Thanks so much for taking care of your subscriber family as always! 🫶🏼 I've vicariously watched your videos since I studied abroad to Tokyo two years ago and your content makes me feel so at home. I'm so excited to be returning to Japan later this year for work! I'd love to start a channel documenting my work life and perspective as a minority in Japan (an absolute dream!). Thank you so much for being you and for being such an inspirational person in my life. --Olivia💕
I would use the camera for recoding my off road drives in my new Bronco. So far I've been using my old phones on a dash mount. Love your videos since I found your channel in 2019
Hey sundai 🥰 this video was so cozy and at such a right time I've been stuck in bed from this fever going around lol. I'd use the camera to document my first time going to japan in may ! I'll be there from may 2nd-19th. It's been such a dream to go, I've watched your life in japan for four years now and ever since the first video of you that I watched I've been planning to go myself. Now I get to celebrate my birthday in japan. 🥹 I wanted to vlog my trip (gotta document these core memories!!) and was looking at the diji pocket as an option to help me film! either way, I can't wait to go and I'm sooo grateful for your recent videos about your favourite hotels in japan. it helped a lot. 🙏🏽❤ love you & blessings!
First of all those boots are so cute! And I’ve started planning my trip to Japan for 2027, and I’m SO excited. I’d use the camera to document my trip, but more importantly to film myself painting. I’d like to start building a presence online on my other accounts so I can support myself through a business. I’ve started with my iPhone, but she’s old, a rickety lil iphone6 who’s lost almost all her battery life 😂. Thanks for thinking of us this month btw. It’s been fun reading everyone’s answers!
I’d use the camera to start vloging my life and enjoying the little moments, because at times we tend to forget the little happy moments or overshadow it with our sad ones. I want to be able to record my good, bad, and uncomfortable moments to learn from them and view them as inspiration!! ☺️💖 ( love you sundaiiii!💗🌸 and I’m happy for whoever that ends up winning, because everyone deserves it 🥳)
I'd use the camera to make youtube videos, life has been lifing and I had to go through many obstacles. Even though I went through all that I am proud of myself for remaining sane and I want to document my self-growth (which I already am doing) and also post it on youtube as a diary. So that the people who go through similar situations can feel seen and know that it can get better. My main focus on the channel would be the gym, self-education and building oneself. You are one of my favorite youtubers that motivates me to do better and to not backdown. Whenever I put on your videos I am ready to get stuff done again, I can't thank you enough for that feeling. God bless you Sundai ❤
Awww the hand made jewelry is really pretty ♥️. Here in Bangkok they also have many jewelry shops with beautiful handmade pieces. I’d use the camera to video more of my daily life in Thailand. My family and friends love seeing the Thai culture through me since they can’t come here themselves. So, I wanna show them even more of it. 😊
I’d use the camera to start my video diaries. Honestly Sundai is one of the few to inspire me to be comfortable with myself and documenting life, especially to show later to future family members as home videos. Regardless I’m very excited to start my video diary journey 😊❤
One of biggest fears was posting on my own socials, both Instagram and TikTok. But after you inspired me to create a vision board I’ve gotten super exited to focus on my personal brand. Even though I work in marketing I have a hard time showcasing myself, I’d use the camera to document my sister strip to Portugal that’s happening in July and starting on my food serie that’s gonna feature my mom. 🫶🏾 This video was really wholesome btw. Love// from Sweden!
I love exploring new places, trying local food, and capturing moments that remind me how beautiful the world is. A vlogging camera would be perfect for documenting my adventures-whether it’s a weekend getaway, a hike, or just those spontaneous little moments that make life so fun. It’d be the perfect way to share my experiences and maybe even inspire someone else to step outside their comfort zone and enjoy the world too. Plus, it’d be awesome to look back on all those memories!
The tanuki is so cute!!! Also the missing pet sign 😂 I love it. I would document my life with my kids. Two of my kids like the idea of being TH-camrs, one for gaming the other for vlogging and that would be an awesome start for them. ❤
Hey Sundai! I’d use the camera to document the little things in life that we often take for granted. Like visiting our family members, casual coffee/sushi dates with friends, spending time with my niece and nephew etc. 💕
Everything about this neighborhood is so effortless beautiful and serene, definitely on my bucket list to visit😍. I'd use the camera to have an excuse to explore my city more and document event and places I'll go to with my loved ones.
Hi there! I think your channel legitimately found me again at the right time. I have been consistently posting on TH-cam and taking my channel more seriously. However, I find that sometimes my challenge is that I run out of space on my phone or feel that the quality could be improved. I would use the DJI Pocket to try out new ways to document my life experiences and improve the overall experience of viewing my content. When I first discovered your channel, I stuck around because of your calming energy and informational content. Since I was a kid, Japan has been on my bucket list for travel destinations. With every one of your videos, I become increasingly confident that it’ll be the place for me. It’s also encouraging as a black woman to see representation in the spaces that I want to be in. That’s the best part! As a person that likes to travel, I know this camera would be a unique opportunity to document my life. The sleek design and ability to be pocketed, is great especially since I’m just starting out! I would love to view my life through the lens of the DJI! ❤ I’ve seen so many creators rave about it, but I couldn’t justify the expense at this time 😂.
I´d use the camera to finally start my TH-cam channel. I've been thinking about this for going on 7 years, now I'm 28 and I made it my ONE and ONLY new years resolution to finally start. Watching your videos (Probably seen every last one too lol) and just seeing you existing in this space is so inspiring to me, especially as a black women. I admire you so much Sundai! I wish you all the blessings!
Sundai have you ever thought about making a video of your favorite cafes and restaurants in Tokyo and Kamakura? Whenever you eat out the food looks so amazing and you find so many work cafes. I'd use the camera to start a TH-cam channel. I've been saying I want to start one for forever now but I'm finally actually doing it! It's animation and in person filming focusing on all my different hobbies movie, and book reviews, and travel so having a camera would be amazing since I only have my iPhone camera.
Hiiiiii Sundai! I love your videos and have been watching them for 5 years! Your videos helped me plan my trip to Japan last year during cherry blossom season. Japan is everything I wanted it to be. However, I’d use the camera to film more candid videos of my family and friends in Florida to make more memorable moments to look back at. Plus, it would be great for when I travel because I love taking tons of B-rolls to make quick reels on my Instagram to recap the moment. ❤
"What would your 🔫sound like?" a "Japanese crosswalk" SUNDAI PLS, LOL Kamakura is such a beautiful place to live! Thank you for showing us spots to visit in your city! I remember being in Kamakura for a moment when I studied abroad back in the day, didn't get to see as much so thank you for sharing! :) I'd use the camera to really jump start my channel! I recently gotten back into vlogging and I want to vlog more while I'm out and about. I was one a blogger girlie back in the day and I tried vlogging back then as well but now that I've let go of emotional baggage and all of the shoulds, coulds, and just really being my authentic self without any limitations.
Howdy Sundai! First of all, loved the Tanuki footage. haha I'm low-key obsessed with them because of Animal Crossing and Tom Nook. lol I'd use the camera to document my process of designing my cozy, embroidered products for my online shop! Seeing you run a success brand among other things has really inspired me to take the leap to pursue my dream of having an online clothing shop, but also working as a comic book artist this year! Seeing another black girl with her hand in multiple creative ventures and working hard to achieve the life of her dreams has really helped me see that this is possible. Your representation and drive has really inspired me and I thank you for you doing you! Praying for your success and good health!
Hey Sundai, absolutely love your video today! I think it's pretty cool that lots of ppl travel to Japan in the winter. I think I might plan for that, the vibes were peaceful haha. I'd use the camera to kickstart a vlogging channel! I want to include cozy lifestyle content talking about all things from healing your inner teen to soft resets, cozy hobbies to practical self care activities. I want to encourage others to pour back into themselves
I learn new things on your channel everytime the tanuki's are cute but did you make a fake lost and found for the tanuki you are so funny the number of times you have spoken about Verve coffee it's on my bucket list for things I'll do when I visit Japan 🇯🇵❤
I recently moved to Japan and I’ve been inspired by you to start my own channel also. I’m currently in Yokosuka and I think it would be cool to show how I interact with locals daily as a 6’7 black man in Asia lol. Cheers and best of luck to everyone participating in the giveaway!
Your videos are always so comfy 💖 I'd use the camera to continue creating content online, I always did videos to express myself, but in the past years, I lost my sparkle, and I'm fighting some demons to get it back and feel like myself again
I've been quite a fan especially with walking around and exploring japan cafes and stuff. I'd use the camera to record and shoot short films. I used to be a media arts student, making films and shooting wedding videos using my old Iphone 5s back in high school and I want to feel how it felt capturing stories and life itself. Soon I'll be visiting rural towns and maybe going abroad and I could really use the camera to capture the stories of how lives live in that area. much love 💕
Hi Sundai! I found your channel last year after I moved back to states from Japan (big mistake….huge) haha. I was stationed there so not much of a choice but anywho I love your channel, I visited some friends last November and I planned a whole day for Kamakura because it is my favorite town in Kanagawa maybe even Japan (Beppu is amazing too though). I’d use the camera to finally start a TH-cam channel, traveling is my favorite thing to do and the only way I’ve ever captured it is through photos so I would love to start a video diary. I’ve always been to scared but I just turned 33 this month so it’s time. Thank you for this month of giveaways and all the content/blogs, you’re one of my favorites! Congrats on your good news as well. God is so good! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾
OMG, this is the dream camera!! I'm coming to Japan in Nov 2025 and this is the camera I've wanted to get but it's just out of my price point. I really want to vlog this trip as I want to begin a career in social media but more importantly, I just really want something to show my future children, to watch back on as this is my go big or go home trip, so having a digital diary would be the best thing ever. Id use this camera to create ever lasting memories of the trip that makes my inner child inspired
5:13 😂😂 felt that on a spiritual level. Cause girl same I’d use the camera to start vlogging. I’ve wanted to start vlogging for a very long time. I’m a plus size screenwriter in grad school who is on a journey of self love and also loves to travel. Social anxiety and insecurities kept me away from doing things I’d always want to do but one of my goals for the year has been to step outside of my comfort zone. I’ve been eyeing this camera for almost a year now but never got it because I never had the extra money to buy it.
Loved todays video! It was so calm and relaxing compared to your more busy videos of the past months🥰 I'd use the camera to start documenting my life(yt)! My parents always used to film everything of my siblings and me starting from a young age. Just having the documentation in good quality would be super lovely looking back at it later in the future. Plus I wil be traveling international a lot in the comming years so it would be nice to have that with me as well☺️ Lots of love, your forever fan from the Netherlands❤❤
I'd use the camera to capture more of life. As someone who's always been passionate about photography and just filming the little moments, I enjoy freezing moments in time that others might miss. With the DJI, I think I could take my photography to new heights - literally.
Love your vlogs! I seriously look forward to them every week ❤️ After studying abroad in Japan, I miss it sm & your vlogs bring back so many reminiscent memories/feelings for me when I watch them. I also love your videos bc they are super informative and entertaining, keep up the great work Sundai!! If I were to win, I would start vlogging again. Ive always been super shy about vlogging but having the DJI, it would make me feel less intimidated to film in public. It’s also one of my 2025 goals too, to make more content and start vlogging again. I had my 1st baby 2 years ago & i’m just finally starting to feel like myself again and take on my own hobbies again ❤ Also, thank you for your generosity & hosting these giveaways! You’re so sweet ❤
I’d use the camera to film day in my life videos, world travels and vlogs of me and my kitty! I’ve been wanting to start making TH-cam videos and having a camera would be a great way to start!
Girllll not your love for the dog racoon thing.😂😂😂 You have such a pure heart. I'm running from anything that can chase me.
😂😂😂 it’s so cute tho
LOL i would have lured it into my house i love animals so bad
“Oh you got da mange?” cracked me up for some reason, lol. 😂
I'd use the camera to document my 6 year old's words of wisdom. I swear this child has been here before!
Thanks for the opportunity and the video 💕
i hope you win this giveaway cuz why am i CRYING ❤
The January crowds and bustle brought a huge smile to my face. I love seeing the culture and those beautiful kimonos. It made me remember the wedding you went for last year it was hectic but fun
I'd use the camera to document my family.
Our grandparents used to take and develop photos, I want to do the same with videos so I can see the smiles, hear the laughters make those moments last forever 💫
(Btw you're truly an inspiration of the life I want to be able to live one day ! Thank you for your channel 🙌🏽)
The tanuki at the start almost made me cry omg 😭
No seriously, it was so sad 😢 - but Sundai calling him Mangly sent me to heaven
Mangly is such a hilarious name. I love all raccoon and raccoon adjacent babies.
I know I died when he tried to go up the stairs 🥺
@@moriahkirk1991my heart shattered omg
Do it
Oh Lord I can’t stand ketchup the smell alone.
It would be like bringing Japan to her 🥰
Btw, I love your videos! and I’m sure you know this but you are definitely a big inspiration and the definition of a successful driven black women ❤ thank you for always showing your lifestyle and creating the Sundai Love family ❤️💕
Continue to have a beautiful life 💜😁✨
@@chavionfreeman thank you so much for your kind words 💖💖🥰
This is beautiful. Congratulations.
@ thank you! 💖💖
Are you comfortable sharing your art channel here? I would love to show support!
Sundays with Sundai❤
And yeah putting the mirror behind the phone to check if I’m in the frame or if it’s recording is also pretty tiring 😅 I’ve been to 65 countries and more to count and I have started to commemorate my journeys 5 years ago ❤ I wanna level up my filming skills, and be able to finally include more shots of me while traveling alone ❤
I’ve been dreaming about this camera for my TH-cam channel for a while but because I am yet to start earning from it I couldn’t dedicate budget for it.
This would mean a lot ❤
Thank you Sundai for this amazing vlog and giveaways
Love you,
Lianna ❤
Good afternoon y'all ♥️ it's a great day to have a great day ☺️
Hey Sundai :) loved this vlog (as usual).
Hi Sundai,
I never comment😂
But I have been a subscriber for years and find it so comforting to see Japan since moving to Sydney.
Same!
@@taylarbell9018 it’s gonna be a lot of work but we can get it done! Good luck to you!!
Thank you for the opportunity and just being you.❤
And that racoon dog was so cute ❤but I'm a jumpy person so I'd have run as a first instinct😂😂
I’ve been so scared about whether or not people watch my videos or subscribe, but you and many other creators on this platform have given me the inspiration with your content as the extra push I need thank you so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I'd use the camera to document my entire life, the good and the bad, and hopefully show my kids and my grandkids in the future, how my life was like❤❤
Hi Sundai ~ I’ve been a fan of your channel for years (back when you lived in Korea haha).
Your vlogs give me something to actually look forward to and i don’t spend Sundays dreading Mondays anymore😅
oh and thanks for another amazing vlog as always girl!🙏🏾🤎
I usually don't enter giveaways but I happened to be talking about this camera just yesterday so I feel like it's a sign lol
I'd definitely use this camera for my vlogs, I get camera shy in public so I get the weirdest angles that nobody asked for 😂 I love vlogging in cafes so that would be amazing!
I'd use the camera to film the secret lives of tanukis in Jiyugaoka, Tokyo 😅 also easy and fast shipping 😅
Girlll I love your dedication on work but more on your sweet heart. ( I just know because the way you treat animals )
I'd use the camera to really jump start my channel! I recently gotten back into vlogging and I want to vlog more while I'm out and about. I was one a blogger girlie back in the day and I tried vlogging back then as well but now that I've let go of emotional baggage and all of the shoulds, coulds, and just really being my authentic self without any limitations.
Im so excited to visit japan in April!! Thanks for making that guide, I was stressing out on what to do😭💓
Howdy Sundai!
Im sitting in the Nederlands having a down day and your video's always gets me going and out of a mood!! The racoon is super sad, hope you find him. 🧡
Your videos are always so comfy 💖
I'd use the camera to continue creating content online, I always did videos to express myself, but in the past years, I lost my sparkle, and I'm fighting some demons to get it back and feel like myself again
Cause girl same
I’d use the camera to start vlogging.
It was so calm and relaxing compared to your more busy videos of the past months🥰
I'd use the camera to start documenting my life(yt)!
My parents always used to film everything of my siblings and me starting from a young age. Just having the documentation in good quality would be super lovely looking back at it later in the future.
Plus I wil be traveling international a lot in the comming years so it would be nice to have that with me as well☺️
Lots of love, your forever fan from the Netherlands❤❤
Ou! All the giveaway winners are going to enjoy everything you gave. Dude all the stuff were so thoughtful 😊
I’d use the camera to film day in my life videos, world travels and vlogs of me and my kitty! I’ve been wanting to start making TH-cam videos and having a camera would be a great way to start!
