And again he's about 15yrs to 2 decades past his prime yet still one of the top in the world. but size does matter, voevoda, bagent, devon larret, all like 250 plus pounds and longer arms = big advantage.

I'm not a fan of comparing the two. We should first find out how many roids/ growth hormones Levan has taken, which if he has, should be unfair. As ar as I'm aware, there's little (if any) regulations on this in arm wrestling. I have no idea if John has, but I'd guess he doesn't focus on those

In fact in the 'Pulling John' documentary, the ending title about Bageant haven't beaten John is a myth. In the pre-release footage, the producer is interviewing both once top competitive arm wrestler Michael Selearis and Bageant (in a duo interview) and Selearis says "Bageant beat John in Tahoe." But this footage was cut out. The original intention of the documentary was to follow other top competitive arm wrestlers at the time including Dave Randall, Ron Bath, Michael Selearis, Marcio Barboza and others (but was condensed to John Brzenk, Travis Bageant and Alexey Voevoda).
@@IconicBattles Dang for real so John was originally an after thought in that docu? I guess that makes sense since it really did spend as much or even more time on Baggant and Alexy as it did John, but still for a plan B I got to admit they did a pretty damn good job of turning it into John being the main point of the film. They shouldn't lie though its hard to find official like win loss records for arm wrestlers which is annoying someone really needs to make a site with that like they have for boxers ya know! but yeah no shame in John losing to Baggant at random over his career especially i'm sure post prime I mean that goes both ways and pretty much all the greats have both wins and losses against eachother ober the years.

Really depends on what weight john is at, he was lighter against voevoda. plus i think its an old person thing too, good days and bad days. john was prolly at his strongest when he was like 235 facing cyplenkov. Against voevoda i think he was like 20 pounds or so lighter. And again he's about 15yrs to 2 decades past his prime yet still one of the top in the world. but size does matter, voevoda, bagent, devon larret, all like 250 plus pounds and longer arms = big advantage.
