What I liked best about this scene was how it turns out almost all of it was show. Ed cares for schemes, earning respect, proving he's the smartest, showing you don't mess with him and creating a show. And even though he doesn't care about killing, he doesn't murder someone when it isn't necessary or logical in his plan (he kills innocent people, but only when it is necessary for his plan to work)

The Riddler is an immensely complex and interesting character where his rise to villainy is pretty much completely of his own accord because he craves, more than power or money, the attention and the fame. Weirdly, they seem to give his actual personality and ambition to Penguin, and then gave him Twoface's arc. Honestly, if they replaced Riddler with Twoface and Penguin with Riddler, it would have been a lot more accurate to the original characters and possibly bearable to watch. Nonetheless we can all agree this guy clearly isn't straight. Stop putting him with women DC...women deserve better.
The Riddler made every villain in season 4 including Sofia and all her men he made them look like child's play many times, like when he just casually rescued Martin like nothing just happened or when Victor Zsasz goes to the Arkham Hospital to get Penguin but The Riddler just takes him outside running towards the struck while shooting bullets in the air some of my favourite scenes in the entire show

The answer was loneliness but he put love, which are arguably opposites. The answer was an Individual, but he said a snowflake, like a special snowflake. He gave up this game and answered the third one correctly, a reflection. He seemed to know the other two but flipped it on purpose.

Matt Reeves took an interesting take of the Batman. 9 years ago the dark knight rises came to cinema. Some liked it, but many despised it. According to Warner Brothers, they wanted Leonardo DiCapro to play the riddler for the dark knight rises 3, but Christoper Nolan couldn’t see how the Riddler would function in his world of Batman. So he took the approach of Bane. Reeves later said he admired Nolan’s dedication of creating a grounded and realistic Gotham. Reeves seemed to taken half the approach of previous directors and want to fill the role of the Riddler fitting inside. Maybe the zero year would be a partial adaption for this movie. If the riddler was the primary villain in the dark knight rises would be more or less of a highly intelligent person, someone that has previously participated in the cryptographic military division and was well known for his ability to memorize large quantity of information and problem solve things with different angles. I think I would out the story in a different way; After the events of the dark knight, we get a flash back of Two Face’s death after the fall broke his neck. I would add a scene later one where we show the present time when Dent act is enacted, and the inmates of the previous Arkham Asylum facility has been transferred to Black Gate penitentiary. Later on, The Joker is put into trial for his devious actions and is cast as a socio path, rather than been insane and quickly sentenced to death. Criminal organizations have been eliminated and corruption within the GCPD has gradually lowered. In the third scene, Alfred and Bruce are looking at the television of the Joker’s execution. And is now living in his penthouse and hiding from his alter ego, the Batman. He occasionally makes few public appearances. The fourth scene moves to midnight at the GCPD, a task force is working on the case of bringing Batman in for “killing Dent”. Everybody left, except a 30 year old male Lieutenant who is still looking at files of possible identity and storing does on his computer. Gordon comes in to check up. The Lieutenant asks Gordon, any idea who he is? He was the Batman. Gordon left, and when the Lieutenant goes back to his apartment we see a large billboard with possible links to Batman. He said to himself that if Batman was not to surrender he was to lure Batman into a trap and capture him himself. The next few days was casual, The Lieutenant studied Batman’s actions and his brain motives and concluded that he needed to give the Batman a case to catch his attention. The Lieutenant went to other divisions for criminal case files and didn’t find what he was looking for. So he decides to take the night shift and find possible crimes. Eventually he prevailed and saw a bad cop given an anonymous tip for a cocaine drug deal, he decides to use a combination of Morse code and rudimentary letters by start sending info outside of dark alleys. But Batman did not show up, instead the next day a news paper from Gotham times revealed that a few dozens cops were able to crack the code and capture the Cocaine group themselves without the aid of any reinforcement. The Lieutenant wasn’t able to find any criminal activity materials or anything in relation to catching the attention of the CIA or FBI, so he starts to steal files. But he couldn’t find any more cases. So he decides to frame somebody. During midnight he backfired by sneaking into a Mexican cartel that sold varieties of explosives and drugs. He stole different packets of drugs and 5 carries of ammunition, and before he left he send a location and a message on a man that has no connection to crime, an innocent person. So he waited in the back alley, and waited from 10:00 pm to midnight until 2 in the midnight that the cartel entered the Man’s house and iced him. The attempt broke the Lieutenant, he stoped going to work realizing that he had just committed fraud and killed a man. The next seven consecutive days Gordon realizes the Lieutenant stoped going to work and so did his colleges. Gordon quickly realized that he was behind the murdered if the innocent man. Eventually the Lieutenant shows up to Gordon privately and confronted him by accusing Gordon for giving out information to the Batman about their capturing warrant and coordinates. It was later revealed that the Batman was watching the whole time, and met up with Gordon to detain the Lieutenant. The Lieutenant disappears for the next week, and eventually caught up with Gordon, and starts sending cryptic messages to the Batman on the GCPD rooftops, telling him that he kidnapped Gordon and that if he wanted Gordon to live, he was to meet in Gotham demolition with abandoned warehouses. Still no sign of Batman, he decides to manually attach serial bombs in Gotham subway and destroyed countless of trains. The next few days, dozens of museums and facility were attached to a large artistic bomb but in secret a bio weapon that had strong chemical agents that would kills countless of people. The Riddler now cruised around all weekend and killed people. Eventually Batman came to his designated location in the demolition process, two large cranes was magnetically connected, and was going to smash Gordon to death, the only attempt is for Batman to solve a riddle and the Crane would drop Gordon naturally. The series of attempt worked, and the Batman had the right answers after 3 riddles. But Riddler vanished that night, with a drugged Gordon who later transported to Gotham General Hospital for clearing his bloodstream of a deadly nerve toxin, while Bruce secretly worked with Lucius to work on a cure. Eventually they got a cure, and the doctors got an antibiotic by a mysterious person, who was Alfred in disguise. The Riddler continued to kill people everyday, and eventually started sending zodiac letters to decide the locations of several bombs attached in dozens of locations in Gotham. Batman decided that he needed a different approach, and he elaborated with Wayne Tech and went different Locations. The lost spot was in crime alley, and the bomb was to send a 5 mile radius unless Batman diffused them in time. It was inside a water tower, however once inside the door was automatically shut down, and it turns out that the Riddler had the attorney general trapped in a cell. The only way to free him, was for Batman to solve consecutive riddles so he would destroy the harmful devices to him. He was to only use his mental abilities, whereas his technology was shut down due to faraday effect inside. Eventually he solved the puzzles and rescued the attorney general. Batman told the Riddler to surrender, but he was not nearby instead he had fled long ago on a plane to the grassland of Africa where Bane was captured. Batman made connections under his identity, Bruce Wayne similar to how Bruce was going to catch Lau and flees on a private plane and eventually tracked down the coordinates of the Riddler, and found a safe house, it was programed with a serial bomb and the only way to disarm it was for Batman to cut the right wires, eventually Batman cut all and won. The Riddler is captured and out into justice. The debt act is abolished, Gordon tells the truth and Batman becomes Hero. It was not as planned, Bruce died that night due to unawareness of Drug exposure and Alfred left Wayne Manor, Lucius is now the CEO of Wayne Enterprises and the remains of the Wayne shares goes to Alfred and he leaves to Florence, he has a vision of Bruce along with Selina Kyle sitting. But it was too good to be true. Meanwhile a rising threat of a man named Penguin is using semi automatics to kill people. An anonymous device was given to a hooded young man, his name is Robin John Blake and was given access all along to the Batcave.
Well technically he was going to. He knew that Jim was as quick as himself. But he was away with his Uncle at that point. And by the time he got back Ed didn't exactly have a "nemesis" Ed wasn't even Ed.
Honestly, would 100% watch a series centered around Ed and Oswald. It would be so over the top, but I would love it. Also "NOOOO! IT'S MY TURN TO KILL YOUUUUU", I canNOT
i like the arkham series Riddler a lot as well, even if he was a side character to side characters. His meltdown over the course of the games was great, til he finally snapped in knight due to Batman always outsmarting him

The next few days was casual, The Lieutenant studied Batman’s actions and his brain motives and concluded that he needed to give the Batman a case to catch his attention. The Lieutenant went to other divisions for criminal case files and didn’t find what he was looking for. So he decides to take the night shift and find possible crimes. Eventually he prevailed and saw a bad cop given an anonymous tip for a cocaine drug deal, he decides to use a combination of Morse code and rudimentary letters by start sending info outside of dark alleys. But Batman did not show up, instead the next day a news paper from Gotham times revealed that a few dozens cops were able to crack the code and capture the Cocaine group themselves without the aid of any reinforcement. The Lieutenant wasn’t able to find any criminal activity materials or anything in relation to catching the attention of the CIA or FBI, so he starts to steal files. But he couldn’t find any more cases. So he decides to frame somebody. During midnight he backfired by sneaking into a Mexican cartel that sold varieties of explosives and drugs. He stole different packets of drugs and 5 carries of ammunition, and before he left he send a location and a message on a man that has no connection to crime, an innocent person. So he waited in the back alley, and waited from 10:00 pm to midnight until 2 in the midnight that the cartel entered the Man’s house and iced him. The attempt broke the Lieutenant, he stoped going to work realizing that he had just committed fraud and killed a man. The next seven consecutive days Gordon realizes the Lieutenant stoped going to work and so did his colleges. Gordon quickly realized that he was behind the murdered if the innocent man. Eventually the Lieutenant shows up to Gordon privately and confronted him by accusing Gordon for giving out information to the Batman about their capturing warrant and coordinates. It was later revealed that the Batman was watching the whole time, and met up with Gordon to detain the Lieutenant. The Lieutenant disappears for the next week, and eventually caught up with Gordon, and starts sending cryptic messages to the Batman on the GCPD rooftops, telling him that he kidnapped Gordon and that if he wanted Gordon to live, he was to meet in Gotham demolition with abandoned warehouses. Still no sign of Batman, he decides to manually attach serial bombs in Gotham subway and destroyed countless of trains. The next few days, dozens of museums and facility were attached to a large artistic bomb but in secret a bio weapon that had strong chemical agents that would kills countless of people. The Riddler now cruised around all weekend and killed people. Eventually Batman came to his designated location in the demolition process, two large cranes was magnetically connected, and was going to smash Gordon to death, the only attempt is for Batman to solve a riddle and the Crane would drop Gordon naturally. The series of attempt worked, and the Batman had the right answers after 3 riddles. But Riddler vanished that night, with a drugged Gordon who later transported to Gotham General Hospital for clearing his bloodstream of a deadly nerve toxin, while Bruce secretly worked with Lucius to work on a cure. Eventually they got a cure, and the doctors got an antibiotic by a mysterious person, who was Alfred in disguise. The Riddler continued to kill people everyday, and eventually started sending zodiac letters to decide the locations of several bombs attached in dozens of locations in Gotham. Batman decided that he needed a different approach, and he elaborated with Wayne Tech and went different Locations. The lost spot was in crime alley, and the bomb was to send a 5 mile radius unless Batman diffused them in time. It was inside a water tower, however once inside the door was automatically shut down, and it turns out that the Riddler had the attorney general trapped in a cell. The only way to free him, was for Batman to solve consecutive riddles so he would destroy the harmful devices to him. He was to only use his mental abilities, whereas his technology was shut down due to faraday effect inside. Eventually he solved the puzzles and rescued the attorney general. Batman told the Riddler to surrender, but he was not nearby instead he had fled long ago on a plane to the grassland of Africa where Bane was captured. Batman made connections under his identity, Bruce Wayne similar to how Bruce was going to catch Lau and flees on a private plane and eventually tracked down the coordinates of the Riddler, and found a safe house, it was programed with a serial bomb and the only way to disarm it was for Batman to cut the right wires, eventually Batman cut all and won. The Riddler is captured and out into justice. The debt act is abolished, Gordon tells the truth and Batman becomes Hero. It was not as planned, Bruce died that night due to unawareness of Drug exposure and Alfred left Wayne Manor, Lucius is now the CEO of Wayne Enterprises and the remains of the Wayne shares goes to Alfred and he leaves to Florence, he has a vision of Bruce along with Selina Kyle sitting. But it was too good to be true. Meanwhile a rising threat of a man named Penguin is using semi automatics to kill people. An anonymous device was given to a hooded young man, his name is Robin John Blake and was given access all along to the Batcave.
this show really managed to take every major batman character and run it into the ground

i like the arkham series Riddler a lot as well, even if he was a side character to side characters. His meltdown over the course of the games was great, til he finally snapped in knight due to Batman always outsmarting him
