    Hiya Mark, another great video 👍👍.
    I normally use a couple of lengths of 2x1" steel box through the genie forks so you don't have to take out the bottom of the wall for the legs. Lift the steel on the genie forks then you can slide it along the 2x1" straight onto the padstones.
    You should really brace the Acrows diagonally with a scaffold tube to stop them twisting- especially with strongboys. I've seen the back of a house fall out when the strongboys have twisted & the props fell. 😱😱
    Regards
    Tim

      Chears mate. Owch mate thanks for the advice. Yere I was thinking of making the arms longer on the lift. But dident no what to use. Yere I aways tighten them up too much really and bend the strong boy. Minght try a brace next time 👍👍👍

      @@JimJimpmjj cheers mate. And I love making the videos. Good fun. I am pricing a nice extension up at min hope I get it. The plan shows the full bottem corner of the house coming out and the top lift of corner on steels. With a wrap round extension. That would be a fun one lol👍👍👍

    My floor joists run parrell with the wall I'm taking out, how do i support both sides (50mm cavity) do I remove the whole wall bellow or leave in until the steel is in place? Great videos learn so much

    • @markhep
      @markhep  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi mate I normally leave the wall in to sprag the steel with. And get strong boys. Put them right through the front onto the back inside the house. Then take the back out put that steel in. Wait a day take props out and put them on front and do front 👍👍👍

    You will glad when you get them steels in at least the genie will be doing all the heavy lifting 😁😁

    • @markhep
      @markhep  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yere lol seems the steels just get heavier. Ever year that goes buy. It's either me getting older or the steels getting thicker lol got told they waight about 350kilo each so glad I got it. Took two of us and the hoist half a day just to get them near the wall lol👍👍👍

    And then the owners go home after a long day of work and see lots of holes in the wall 😱
    That's why you can't go to bed Mark, these holes need to be filled quickly 😁
