I ordered a discovery set from this house; the set was free I just had to pay the shipping, which to my mind is how all samples should be done! PATCHOULI FIGUE sounds like the one I'd like the best if I were to win the giveaway but I'll comment again after I try them. Thanks for the review Sabastian, this is a house I wasn't familiar with. All the best from The Redwood Coast, CA!

Just received my discovery set and the timing was perfect, I just ran 2 quarts of fresh-picked Mission Figs through my dehydrator and my house smells of a deep fig fragrance... it compliments the Patchouli Figue perfectly! Thanks for the recommendation Sebastian!

I'm only a minute in, but once I heard 'patchouli'..... 🤣 Big fan of Angel so it sounds like I'd enjoy Patchouli Figue. Especially since I'm a fan of chocolate covered....everything. 😋 And Marie Schnirer did Jovoy's Pavillon Rouge too. That would be my pick. The notes in Absinthe Gaiac really intrigued me though. Strange it didn't work out. I would've had high expectations too. Any time I see violet leaf, leather, spices and woods I'm usually on the edge of my seat. Nevertheless, I might give it a try and see what I think. Thanks Sebastian! Canada

As a fellow patcho I'd pick Patchouli Figue. Lots of great notes in this one! Pear, Fig and Patchouli all sound amazing. Thanks for the review of these 4 new releases. I might have to get a sample pack of this house because I didn't know them and all these fragrances sound really unique and interesting. From Biscuit Accords to Absinthe I am really curious to find out how these will work on my skin.

North Carolina! I enjoyed this video because I haven’t heard much about panouge and I enjoy learning about new houses. I especially enjoy experiencing new houses. I would probably pick absinthe gaiac or patchouli figue

Florida - I just started getting interested in scents/perfumes. I’ve never been able to wear anything because I have family members that are very sensitive to scents and they get migraines. I have to do a lot of research before I can buy any fragrances. so video reviews like yours, ones that are educational, descriptive, informative, I really appreciate. The Datura Amaretti sounds really good. I love almond fragrance so much!

  • @kylasauer2039

Missouri - I love how descriptive you are with the fragrances. I can get a real feel on what they smell like. Out of the four I think I would enjoy the Patchouli Figue the best. I have recently fallen in patchouli.
I absolutely love watching your videos and I look forward to the next one!

It's awesome of you to take the time to explain every component of the fragrances and then mention how they mesh together. It's always fun to hear about your fragrance experiences. I am very interested in the Rose Agathe! I have always enjoyed floral scents and I think this would be perfect.

I've read about Panouge, on different occasions, earlier this year, and your review of these four fragrances helped me to have a better understanding of them compared to when I had read about them. When I had read about them, I thought that "Datura Amaretti" might be my favorite from them, but now I think that my favorite would be "Patchouli Figue". I hope to win "Patchouli Figue" because patchouli, cacao, and fig leaf (and fig milk) are some of my favorite ingredients used in perfumery. I live in MD., U.S.A.

Sweet without being sticky , woody , floral without being indolic , playful without being lustful, Patchouli Figue is perfectly balanced, happy fragrance.
Panouge is a new brand to me , with a lot of potential for growth

Never heard of this house but I do love learning about new houses and interesting scents.
Although I do love rose, if i could I would probably end up choosing patchouly fig because I haven’t got anything with a prominent fig note and I haven’t got anything at all with the type of patchouly you always talk about the chocolate cake type of patchouly so I would love to experience what that smells like.

Never tried any Mugler so I can't figure how PATCHOULI FIGUE would smell, but I love fig and Patchouli so that would be the one I definitely want to try, maybe Rose Agathe the second. Thank you Sebastian!!!

This week i bought the fig one. I have a lot of fragrances ,from expensive ones to cheap..This one feels so unique . It's sweet at the beginning but it cools down when the fragrance hits the drydown the patchouli and cacao are on the wheel. It is nice ,and my wife could wear it to.And its a little bit gourmand.

What I love about your videos is the education. As a 21 year veteran educator amid a pandemic, I rediscovered my love of fragrance through your channel. Now Patchouli is now a fan favorite of mine. As a result of your influence I have the Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait, Dodson, and Philosykos eau de parfum in my arsenal. It was a wonderful introduction to self care and getting back into a real routine after schools were closed. I live in South Florida, USA and would love to try the Patchouli Figue fragrance by Panouge.

This sounds like an interesting collection. I normally lean towards rosy fragrances but with the metallic note, I'm not sure I'd be a fan. Datura Amaretti sounds delectable though, I'd like to experience a fragrance with a biscuit and almond notes that is not off-putting.

Rose agate is a ppl pleasing head turner, it’s not a jammy dense rose, it smells like a tropical fruit named rose apple. There’s nothing unpleasant about any of these scents. Patchouli figure is very bold though.

Always love being exposed to new houses. Rose Agathe sounds excellent! I love unique takes on rose - most of mine are very ambery and spicy, quite powerful (often too powerful) fragrances. And while i have some nice feminine fresh takes, nothing metallic at all. Sounds very cool. The Fig sounds really really great too, but Rose is my #1 note so I have to give the nod to Rose Agathe. Don't know if the giveaway is still open but here goes.
I ordered a sample set and Patchouli Figue was an instant love, I went Wow from the first sniff and that feeling never left thru the whole experience. From the start with the fruitiness to the warm, chocolate, sweet dry down.
If I should be chosen I would definitely choose that one.
As far as what I like about the video it's how accurate your descriptions were compared to my own experience. A lot of the time I watch a review and then try the fragrance for myself and wonder if it's even the same fragrance that's spoken about.
I agree with your assessments except for Datura Amaretti which for me was just another kinda boring female fragrance.
Thanks for your great content. Your variety of houses is amazing.

You stirred my curiosity as you described Datura Amaretti because I am not familiar with the Datura flower. You also peaked my interest when you described it as having "classic" touches with a modern take. So Datura Amaritti would be the one I would be drawn to first after tuning into your review.

Russ from Georgia… always interested in your comparisons to what you have experienced with other senses… “eating a chocolate covered fig”. I think would like the patchouli fig and would love to win the bottle.

What an interesting line of fragrances. I loved this video. I love hearing about Sebastian's methods for smelling fragrances. And I love his obsession with patch! Personally, I would pick Rose Agathe. I need a fresh, green scent even during the fall because I live somewhere hot, humid, and warm. Rose Agathe sounds right up my alley. Cheers from NC, USA.

Hey Sebastian - On your recommendation, I ordered a bottle of the Patchouli Figue. Wow! I instantly fell in love with it and it was definitely worth the blind buy! In my opinion, it smells like a more subtle version of Akro Smoke (which I also own and LOVE). Maybe it's just me but this definitely smells of ashy tobacco to my nose. Thanks again for the recommendation and keep up the great reviews!

Awesome video as always, the description to the fragrances seem to me like they are always on point and you make someone interested in a fragrance after your take on them. Also, there is a very calming effect when i see your videos,i always seem to watch them mostly on a rainy day after a hard day to relax and enjoy your voice and the sound of rain echoing in the backround. All the fragrances sound very nice, interesting concept on rose agathe and the amaretto, but for me if i was going to win would be either patchouli figue(sound a winner),or absinthe gaiac.Lots of love from Greece.

I've never heard of this house before, but that's why I enjoy watching your videos because I always discover new fragrances. As soon as I've finished watching your video, I've ordered a discovery set to try out their fragrances. All of them seem nice, but I think I am more interested in Patchouli figue and Absinthe gaiac.
Thank you for the review! I am from Italy.
Edit: I've got my discovery set today and as I was expecting my favorites are Patchouli figue and Absinthe gaiac. Rose agathe smells a bit like church to me, probably of the incense, but I feel like I am in a church and you can smell the incense in the metallic recipient where they are keeping it. Strange description, but that is what I get. And lots of geranium, the flower and leaves also. Datura amaretti is my least favorite and that's because I don't like almonds and ylang-ylang. They smell unpleasent on my skin.

I will research popular fragrances and discover that you’ve reviewed them years ago😆 so I’ve been a loyal subscriber ever since. I’m also interested in the rose and would like to try this new metallic rose! I don’t like patchouli much but that may change 🤷🏾‍♀️. Thank you for sharing. Much love from Cali🍷

The detail with which you describe each fragrance. If I win, I'd select Patchouli Figue. All the best from CA, USA.

Hi Sebastian! I have never actually heard of this house before but Patchouli Figue has piqued by interest the most-not only because of the notes but I have always trusted your reviews. I have ended up blind buying many fragrances you like and they have always been exactly what I was searching for. I hope I win because rhubarb notes in fragrances remind me of growing up at my childhood home. Late spring our garden always flourished with rhubarb. In addition, the fig + patchouli seems like a very beautiful combo. All the best, Steve, USA

I love your videos and have tuned in for years because they are highly informative, to the point, and beautifully shot. While I am a huge Rose fan I would love to try Patchouli Fig. It sounds like the stand out, and I’m a little apprehensive about the metallic notes in the rose fragrance. Lastly, I am from DC!

They all sound wonderful, Sebastian! What I appreciated about this video is that you can make your least favourite still sound intriguing. Even though I am patchouli lover, I am intrigued by Absinthe Gayak. Greetings from Ontario Canada!!

Great review; love the note breakdown and explanation of the house and perfumers! If I were to win I’d like the Datura Amaretti as it sound gourmandy and that’s my favorite profile. I live in New York

I recently sampled these, so happy you did a video on this collection! My favorite is Datura Amaretti, then Rose Agathe and least Absinthe Gaïac, doesn't work well for me either. France
