Mean ow 👌 we done a hāngi in my backyard couple weeks back with my brother, sons and nephews bout 6am lit the fire for a lunchtime feed, Was a bit paranoid the neighbours might call the firetruck we underestimated the size of the fire almost caught the misses kōwhai tree on fire 🔥 saved it with a nephew and a hose 😂 the hāngi was perfect that’s all that mattered at the end of the day 😎 Chur Sonny mean video bro good to see guys like us on the TH-cam 🤘🏼

Its good to see the Maori traditions, which has similarities with pacific or asian people where I belong...a way of closely building bonds closer ties between family (Whanau) or friends...In the place I grew up in asia, our families gathered together during birthdays, town or city fiestas, Dec 25 christmas midnight dinner, & new year 1st January Celebration with a Whole Roasted Pig (Lechon) common in those gatherings...its good to see other traditions with similarities as we belong just in the sides of the Pacific Ocean, with HANGI is also very interesting to see & taste whats in the outcome of the food festivities...🙂
