The rest of the story. Mike Williams turned back to homosexuality (he really never left it, but just tried to hide it), and turned against Norvel Hayes. They had a falling out. Mike Williams continued in the ministry, but his doctrine is homosexual false doctrine and false teaching. He teaches homosexuality is ok with God. That doesn't line up with the Bible... I used to go listen to Mike Williams and also I used to drive to Cleveland, TN to hear Norvel on many occasions. You can't cast sin out. That is not Biblical. You can't blame your sins on the devil. The Bible says one must repent of their sins, and turn away from them, to be saved. Mike was able to fool a lot of people for a long time, but then the preachers in the churches he attended, like Christ Fellowship, in Atlanta, GA, who helped him build up His ministry found out he was still a practicing homosexual, so they dropped him. Mike Williams preached to homosexuals and tried to "cast the.devil" out of them, but they found they still had their issues so they started killing themselves, when they realized they were still "homosexual", and nothing had changed. So Mike had to come clean and admit he was living a lie. Homosexuality is just like fornication and any other sin, in the Bible. It has to be dealt with as sin. Blaming sin on the devil is a cop out. According to the Bible, one has to repent of sin, whether it is fornication or adultery, anything else. That is where Norvel missed it. The Bible says you need to renew your mind. It says to work out your salvation "with fear and trembling." One has to own up to the fact they are a sinner to get saved. But Mike Williams never once gave a testimony of being saved.
Mike went from not having children, to having demons cast out (which is Biblical), to having children so the deliverance from demons was real, but it needs to be walked out with "repent, and believe the Gospel" which means we need to renew our minds per Romans 12:2 so when the devil comes along and lies that you're still a sinner/homo, then you need to tell the devil "no" and "go".
