Oh my goodness! I remember this part of class like it was just yesterday! I graduated in 2020, but these memories will live with me forever. It is so interesting that at that time I despised poetry, but now (mainly because of English 12) I actually enjoy poetry-even most of Shakespeare’s poems. I’m now a straight-A college student because Abeka was so influential and effective, providing me with a great store of knowledge from which to always draw.
Micah was always so entertaining… peeking at the camera and being dramatic (grabbing his arms during “and to take arms against a sea of troubles”) and so much more! Interestingly, Micah and Beka look like twins in this clip! 🤣
May the Lord continue to bless Pensacola Christian Academy so that they may continue to be a blessing and godly influence to generations of students in the same manner as they did me!

Thank you for sharing this! I have a similar story; I initially hated poetry too but the constant reciting and funny things like this made poetry at least more bearable 😂
