It's deeply concerning that the current regime in Ethiopia seems to be fueling ethnic conflicts and taking sides, which has led to the onset of a civil war against the Amhara people. It's frustrating to see the government prioritize one ethnic group over others, without addressing the Tigray genocide or healing the wounds of past conflicts. The ethnic federalism policy in place is causing great harm and division among Ethiopians, and it's disheartening to see innocent people being prosecuted, killed, and arrested on the basis of their ethnicity. If the special forces are required to disarm, it should be done across all regions and not just targeted towards the Amhara people. 😢

The world is uniting and but sadly Africa is breaking down into clans and functions. Nationalism for Ethiopia should be bigger than the interest of regions and languages, and with the nationalism compromise can be reached... the more politicians divide people into ethnic and religious lines, the more the country will be in the brink of civil war. Ethiopia should learn a lesson from us... division will eventually also destroy all your regions because even within regions live people of different ethnic groups.

What I noticed about African politics is politicians who play ethic politics and all they want is to dived people so they can have a bargaining power. Somalia is already broken into pieces. Kenya is now struggling also. I am not talking about Amhara region, but I am talking about the system that divides a country as if they are different countries. Apart from languages and may be religion we are the same ethnic group, same race, (Same people), so division will eventually destroy the things we want to save now.
