Great video. I just bought a 2002 VTX 1800 with only 8,400 miles. Runs great in every way, but doesn't want to find neutral easily all of the time. The guy u bought it from (second owner) learned to ride on it. I'm hoping I don't have an issue with the clutcg. Any advice?
Don't want that rivet floating around in your engine that's for sure. I'd just re-rivet it and put it back together. No sense in buying a whole new clutch basket (I can't imagine what they cost) The clutch end plate was just flexing because of the broken rivet, so once it's replaced, your clutch will disengage like it should. I'd check the other two while you have it apart.
Thats a good looking bike!
