Thank you. I don't know much about the world outside of Japan, but I'm sure there are a lot of variations in Japanese railways. It's fun to ride and fun to take pictures of.
@superknightrider3000 Japan has some of the highest train ridership in the world. Most countries don't come close to Japan with the amount of trains and the percentage of train ridership per the population. Japanese trains are by far the most diverse of any country I have seen. I've been to over 30 countries and most dont have the level of coverage Japan has, and with 7 different JR companies and many private lines, Japan has the most rolling stock and train types ive seen. Even China does not have such diversity in such a small land mass. Some European countries like France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria all have good networks but they don't compare to Japan.

Japanese trains are very diverse. It is nice to see local lines like this transporting people. its a great alternative to busses or taxis.
