The way Hetalia puts it makes it seem that way, But you have to understand while England and France were beating the crap out of each other, The British decided to take there war expenses and shove it on to America. They taxed us relentlessly until we were starving and there soldiers treated us like crap. So we said, "Were Americans and were not gonna take this BS. " And we formed are own country.
This was very cute and I LOVE the song =3 I am not for USUK (ship FrUK), since I see America as England's son XD lol And they never really clicked in my head as a couple, yet this was very cute! Even if I got more of the father/son, friendship relation between the two in this, which I think should also be treasured

I was simply saying that because of Hetalia, when I think of the Revolutionary war, I start to cry because I think of England crying because the small colony he had raised and taken care of since it was new, making sure it stayed safe from harm from the French. A colony, that despite all this, basically stabs his loving big brother in the back to gain freedom. But, that's what Hetalia make me see. I understand the true reasoning's of America's independence.
