You gotta know that the anime got adapted super quickly to make it in time for the last world cup to ride off of its hype, so a lot of quality bits were cut that the original mangaka had envisioned, which is why manga readers shit on the anime to this day. Strongly hoping that season 2 will NOT disappoint as much with stiff movement and animation. Absolutely continue criticizing bad scenes in hopes that it'll get the directors and managers to leave the animation team with more time to work with to not fuck up again. 2:15 - Kunigami was known to be the biggest and strongest player in their building so I guess it's not too far fetched to assume he's decent at using his physical prowess in defence, I get why it feels like an asspull tho 2:51, 6:28, 8:55 - I'm not even sure the offside or the starting touch rule applies here, it's a MUCH smaller field with a different set of rules remember? Might also explain why players feel a lot more comfortable landing "mid range" shots since they're usually a lot closer to the actual goal than usual either way. 3:15 - Barou had scored a header in the first match and we got a tap in by Gagamaru in the game against Niko's team. Gagamaru also made two header attempts but failed both if I remember correctly. 4:52 - cry, that image 6:22 - Reo should be better at long distance passing (which isn't really required on a smaller field), dribbling and a tiny bit in physique I guess. Isagi stomps that mf so bad overall tho. 8:10 - Fun fact, Isagi actually called Barou a retard instead of a donkey in the manga. Guess censorship ruined that. I hope you'll be continuing to enjoy this series either way, I'm a huge fan of the manga and really hoping you'll enjoy the series just as much despite using the anime as your point of reference. And Im also excited to see how season 2 animations will look, if this was rushed as you said then that means there is a lot of room for improvement.

Im not a huge fan of football but i am a huge fan of blue lock and its cool to see just how much you love and know about the sport. Like the fact you have a irl moment for most things that happen in the show is pretty cool
Thats fair though usually its their original attribute evolving. Like Chigiri can now keep his speed and dribble with the ball. But with Kunigami not sure how he got to the point where he can 1v1 one of the best players. Unless being “physical” was his strength and I missed it.

The second selection feels very story telling based and in that department is great but soccer based especially with the subpar animation its very poor especially when you have 9 goals a game I get the point in universe is for them to improve there consistency but the repediveness of goals and micro actions (witch is the skill isagi is improving on in this arc) being poor I can definitely understand it being a bit dull

Finally, somd good fucking content. Yeah, to catch the hype of championship animators worked really fast and cut out a lot of quality content, also made mistakes in animation. Season 2 promises to be much better in terms of consistency and animation quality, so hope to SS more of your vids.
