Truly educational and opinionated. This ep should be reached out to many people. Worth giving 2hrs of your life on this episode. Their way of stating their opinions with scientific and statistics facts and with relatable examples literally validated my thoughts and feelings. Gave validation to my perspective. I feel so good rn.

I work as a healthcare professional in the UK and from my experience working with few Nepalese patients I noted that Nepalese people do not accept that they have the depression or any form mental health problems. They will always say “I am not depressed doctor “ . This will be the opening sentence. It makes it really hard for us to counsel and formulate further plan. This is my experience.
Extremely informative podcast. I enjoyed thoroughly!!

Incredible podcast. The beauty of it is the fact that complex concepts have been explained so well, making it clear to understand, relate and apply. A winner in my books.

As a mental health worker in Australia, i would say the situation of Nepal
in a terms of mental health is stigma and unawareness. We would feel shame to visit a psychologist as society will call us “pagal”. So nice to hear this podcast.

Very Informational podcast sanjay. Nepal ma ajhai mental health issue lai recognize garya chaina. It is big thing. Everyone needs an outlet and someone to hear them out. However due to the orthodox beliefs that society has created most of the people stay behind the curtain. I loved the part where he said “Teacher aucha padhaucha ani jancha “ Teacher le opinion sundaina student ko. Life ma reflect garnu ekdum jaruri cha then you will realize where you messed up.I highly recommend that if anyone is going through any mental health issue reach out to respective people who are expert in this field. Life is precious and its one time don’t take it lightly!

    Beautiful explanation
Very important tips for mental health
Self reflection : we focus more on others success. We fail to self reflect on ourselves. It is more important to know about oneself , to analyse your strength and weakness. Your mind is your great asset and can be your enemy too. Plz develop awareness, consciousness
Mindfulness : awareness and consciousness about your state of mind . To observe your thoughts, emotions. Being aware of your thoughts
Listening: to listen someone without judgment, relax , focus
Being Registered nurse in Australia I have learned above. On top of that, listening spiritual talk have also helped .
In life we focus more on material goals.
    Look yourself
    Be happy in simple things
I hope this comment will help someone❤
Skills very important to teach from young kids, to speak with people, foster relationship

As someone who just started working in rehabilitation centers for addiction, i can vouch for what they are saying. Regulation bhanne kura ta chadai chaina. It is soo so tragic and at a vulnerable state I am surprised to see how they are even allowed to run like that.

Good parenting ko euta session garauna. Much much needed but the thing is when we speak in english its only reaches a few percentage. Sagun ji had pearls of wisdom to share but since he was giving advice in english language. How many Nepalese can understand that? Sano sano useful clip nikalera could be promoted in elsewhere as well. People need to be advised on how to use social media in a healthy way, how to do well parenting and many other topics. A humble request from an aspiring psychologist.

It is educational but if you are talking about suicide and similar sensitive topic please do a trigger warning in the beginning of the episode. It is a good practice and an important one to practice safety. Some topics discussed can be very triggering to people experiencing mental health difficulties.
