Update: plug in usb keyboard and press z to work it out. If you're not getting the check marks like he did its because he didn't show us how to get the check mark's after updates to to pay for premium access an easy way around this is to go to the files setting option on the side of the rom file and switch it from not available offline to available offline. Thats all that wasnt said. And yes i did follow step by step but this video is outdated there are now extra step involved in this process only about two minor steps the key board youll need and the offline setting must be turned on to allow offline play

I’ve just saved proggres in pokemon fire red and wanted to exit. I opened game menu and chose exit but when i click it nothing happens. When I refreshed the site everything was reseted and I had to do everything again. Any help?
Fire Red is notorious for having a bad save battery, so the game most likely won't save. You have to search really good to find a Fire red rom that will save. And you can just hit the home button to quit the game after saving.

Hm, thats odd, as when I was playing around with pokemon on my xbox, i never came across any of the issues that other users' had brought up in the comment section of my video. I will try to play it again on a friends xbox and see what happens. Apologies that I dont have a clear solution at the moment. And my video is pretty much the only one that people find. Im not sure how many other videos are out there that show different steps.
99% likely its a bad rom. Fire Red and Leaf Green are very notorious for not saving because the roms online were ripped from a cartridge with a dead battery, thus saving is impossible. You need a clean, good fire red rom
I’d suggest maybe trying out a different rom, it could be that the rom you got wasn’t ripped correctly? I’m also using an Xbox One S, I don’t know if that poses any difference or not.
That’s strange, it could be that you got a bad rom, try getting a different rom from a different site and see what happens. I use a One S and it’s been working smooth

There's only one switch emulator that is passable at best, and it's available for windows. You cannot get windows on xbox, so it's very unlikely. And subscribing to a channel is because you enjoy the content, not because they do some unorthodox task for you. Thank you for the comment.
