Hmm. My instinct is to mention important negative concerns, so our relationship is built on trust. For example, you should know, upfront, about the Justice Dept's antitrust lawsuit that threatens my startup's revenue stream from real estate agents. Thanks for this insightful series!

Another great vid in your series, thank you! Nice to hear the clear examples for each of the pitch points you have in mind, I plan to use these tips already later today with a VC meeting!

I think past me, and other founders often make the mistake of sharing too much information in the first meeting! Great advice here. Let the VC ask what they want to discuss further. Being on the receiving end of too much information is so overwhelming, especially because we are just learning about your business. Also curious: how do you present yourself and your co-founder if you are both non-technical? I know that is usually a dealbreaker for some VC's - any way to talk about this, and keep them interested?

Brilliant points, Lidia! As to your question, we like to see a balanced team that can tackle the various elements of building. Because usually just one founder pitches, speak to each person's expertise, but no need to be the tech expert.
