    I love love love the way you’re laid back but still on your game. LOVE! This gives me so much hope! First time homeschooler this year 😬 I was homeschooled my whole school age. But it was very ridged and I want to do something more relaxed!

    This was great to see!! This brings back some wonderful memories. I wish this was out when I was homeschooling my kids. I homeschooled 3 out of four through high school. The fourth I homeschooled through 2nd grade. Due to my having to work outside of the home and a 10 year gap from the older three, my youngest is in public school now entering HS. I'm impressed with how you set your binder up. Mine was similar but much more primitive. Great layout with awesome ideas!! Very well done. Blessings moving forward homeschooling your precious youngsters. It is well worth it! 😊

    I think I need to separate our Homeschooling Planner out from my other planner. This is a great video because I'm always looking for ways to track our school days a little better. Thanks for the great ideas.

      It helped me so much to keep my personal and honest planning separate. I want it to work in one book, but sadly, it wasn’t as functional. I hope you hone in on your system soon 😊

    Me too! I homeschool and use the One Stop Teacher Shop Planner. I love the flexibility and if I make a mistake or we need to adjust I reprint. I WANT to try the digital Google drive version too.

      @@AnnieSmithawifenmother That is very true. That's the beauty of homeschooling. You can "expose" your child to topics and as they grow they have a variety of topics to explore on their own. It also helps them in conversing with non-homeschoolers. Keep at it!

    Great video! taking away your idea for co-op tracking. ugh..My oldest (11) has been in co-op for the last 4 years I haven't tracked it to date! Gonna start now! Do you keep both Homeschool planner and regular planner open throughout the day? when do you include HS planner for marking off? I find I am more of a list planner for HS too..lessons we just do the next thing so not important to write down nor do we need records for the state. I would like to branch out using a separate HS planner as well.

    • @AnnieSmithawifenmother
      @AnnieSmithawifenmother  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I keep my personal planner nearby, but if I’m doing homeschool I just focus on homeschool so I don’t need my personal planner for any reason. And when I’m done homeschooling for the day, I put away my school planner and go back to my personal one for guidance on the rest of the day.

    Do you have a special hole punch for the printable inserts or do you buy already punched paper then print on it?

    • @AnnieSmithawifenmother
      @AnnieSmithawifenmother  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a special punch- you can often find them in craft stores or order them from craft websites, or find it on amazon.

    Can you please tell me how attendance works when homeschooling?

    • @AnnieSmithawifenmother
      @AnnieSmithawifenmother  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depending on the state you live in, you are required to track attendance on the days you school. I just keep a list for my own reference so I know how long we’ve been schooling and how close we are to the finish line 😆

  • @ciannacoleman5125
    @ciannacoleman5125 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If you live in a state that doesn’t require attendance records why keep them? We never kept attendance when I was homeschooled (through high school) we just kept track of work completed

    • @AnnieSmithawifenmother
      @AnnieSmithawifenmother  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It’s for my own benefit. Knowing how long we’ve done school and how far we have projected for the rest of the year is very motivating and valuable information.

    • @Keemanchic

      @@AnnieSmithawifenmother ok thanks. I have been looking for them myself lately and YES it is hard to find them! I did find this recently schoolhouseteachers.com/wp-content/uploads/Schoolhouse-Teachers-Scope-and-Sequence-Master-2.pdf that seems to be easier to read. I haven't read through everything yet, though, but so far it looks quite straightforward. I just know when I go to my State requirements it's a bunch of technical language I don't quite understand.
