my prediction is slightly less milk production next winter but a slightly higher milk price...........i think a lot of farmers are struggling a bit with there silage.........we've had a brief glimpse of tom pembertons fields after he's done his silage......there not looking very pretty. we haven't had enough sun really this spring to put the goodness in the grass. hayho, just got to make the best of what you've got. farming depends so much on the weather.......you need the right weather at the right time. my other prediction is your going to have one field of grass over that you won't get in the pit........some extra round bales to do

I reckon that New Holland and forks could take all the grass from the old 70's two wheel trailers with Silage sides in one go. Took weeks to do - now it's days. Times change.
