Maybe you can add a second playthrough where you spent time to edit split cut and quantize the notes so it sounds perfect, then you'd have both your real performance and a perfect performance (showing how good it COULD sound)
@@SK23. yeah it's that, I think technically the word quantisation specifically mentions when the computer fixes it for you, like when you record midi notes and it arranges them to be perfectly on beat, but in this case I meant just fixing it by hand, it's a bit of a process but once you get the hang of it it becomes clear that everything you listen to (unless it's straight up a live recording) has had it done to them, it's just how things are, you wouldn't want your album to have little tiny mistakes it's gotta be perfect, and if you can't play you can just cheat so there's that as well In my o.d. cover (it's my latest video) I've done it, it sounds perfect, makes me a little ashamed when people see it and think of me as super amazing and talented and skilled, I mean I can play the riff I wouldn't be showing it off if I couldn't but in reality it doesn't sound THAT perfect- nonetheless I'm happy I did it, I'd rather have it sound as best as I could ever make it, I wanted to make something nice to look at and listen to, I'm not good enough to be showing off =)
