Not Korean mainstream,but we know they are really really good!
It's because the rock sound isn't that popular with the typical kpop audience, so they don't sell that many singles. However, their albums sell well - last 3 EPs each sold over 100k. But they aren't the only ones - think about Loona, who has never had a top 70 single on Gaon - but their albums also sell great. It could be worse - think about Kard, who gets NO love even though they are super talented, because Koreans don't support co-ed groups (outside of AKMU).

dreamcatcher is out here serving bops, stage presence and visuals, being one of the most talented and synchronized groups and just having the sweetest and funniest personalities, yet u all don‘t stan. yeah i don‘t get kpop stans.
There is absolutely no reason why this group shouldn't be as popular as blackpink, twice, ...there just as talented and have so much content for there fans much more than BP
its taste tho, if someone isnt interested in their music, they wont stan, their music dosent have to hit for everyone. Just because you may like them, dosen't mean others have too.

At this point, I've almost given up on DC winning a show (unless it's The Show, where single sales aren't quite as important) - but their albums sell very well. (Loona is the same way).

정말 중소의 기적이 드림캐쳐 아닐까 싶다....어떻게 이런 그룹이 나올까... 이 그룹은 서사가 너무 많아 진짜 영화도 이렇게 만들면 욕먹는데 이게 실화라니...정말 언니들은 자부심갖고 활동했으면 좋겠다 그러고 있겠지만 더더!!
이런 컨셉으로 노래를 하는 가수가 있어서 행복합니다ㅠㅠㅠ다들 음색이 매력적이고 곡이랑 찰떡이에요. 2017년?부터 활동하셨던데 이제서야 알다니... 꾸준히 활동해줘서 감사해요.

Only a pride of being able to stan them and having known them, seriously Dreamcatcher has been the only group that has made me feel goosebumps after listening to their discography, despite the fact that they do not have the due recognition, I am glad that the girls are still active and They don't give up in this difficult kpop industry.

Dreamcatcher is POPROCK genre mostly international fans love it. Korean culture always go for pop only or hiphop. Thats why there are more international fans than in sk.
Cause i love anything that have rock. I love DC the only group i stan after discovering albeit late. I had the opportunity to watch their online concert 12.4.2022 and bought all version of physicall albums.( arriving 18th this month) had all their album songs on my premium youtube music app. Daily listening all of em. The only GG i truly invested my dedication. I vote for them on star planet and idol champ app. Hope for their first win. Insomnia for life.

You can see the growth and the improvement over the years. They kept getting better and better with each and every comeback. Even the music has evolved but still kept the dreamcatcher feel to it.

They could have won multiple awards with each title song, and even with several "B" sides.
Some groups got awards for making baby noises while we have epic ballads, high energy songs that will charge your phone while watching and no awards in 5 yrs?! GT..out of here!
It's nothing but business. Awards are trophies given for numbers. A group either brings money by bringing in viewers = popular or gives money = slides the envelope to start the ball rolling, mostly new groups. I would love if they would get awards, but prestigious ones, from real experts, or for their amazing achievements not the ones that depend on how many people watched advertisements on an app while their data is being mined.
You put it in words something I was thinking a long time ago. I understand why Insomnias want a 1st win so desperately, but the girls don't really need it. Korean entertainment system is corrupt and will never change, and fans doesn't care because their priority is their idol, not music or fair treatment.
So many groups get a first win then dissappear of existence. DREAMCATCHER DOESN'T NEED A FIRST WIN TO SURVIVE, they have US, and that has proven to be enough for them and their company all this years.
I hate those apps, hope some day they don't need to go to korean music shows and just tour and be where they are really love and appreciated.

쁘걸이 1854일 만에 1위한 기록을 넘는 1924일, 심지어 가현, 한동을 제외한 나머지 멤버들은 밍스기간(2014년 데뷔 후 2017년에 드캐로 재데뷔)까지 합치면 진짜 슬럼프도 심하고 맘 고생도 심했을텐데.. 결코 적지 않은 컴백으로 많는 앨범이 있고, 컨셉도 다양한 시도를 했지만 결국에는 락이라는 팀 색깔 유지한채 꾸준히 밀어주면서 역주행 하나 없이 끝내 1위한게 진짜 대단하다.. 드캐 멤버분들, 스탭분들, 그리고 끝까지 응원해준 썸냐분들 모두 존경스럽습니다..이제 울 가수도 1위 가수라고 부를 수 있다니ㅠㅠ앞으로 흥행만 합시다!!
