- Enjoy in 4k!
Here we have blue light demos from my favourite fire station, Inverness. Featuring:
S01P1 - New Scania Pump
S31P7 - Dingwall Pump covering for S01P2.
S01A1 - Inverness' ALP, due to be replaced by a Rosenabauer B32 in the coming months
S01R1 - Inverness' Heavy Rescue Unit
S01T1 - 4X4 responsible for pulling the Argocat, currently serving as a temporary vehicle while the Isuzu is in the workshops
S01W6 - Water Carrier, manned by retained crews, the callsign in the window says S01W1 as it used to be wholetime but the sign has not yet been changed
S01P6 - New Scania Retained Pump
S01S1 - New Water Rescue Unit, recently replaced an old Vivaro van
Many thanks to my good friends at Inverness for their hospitality (again) on this rainy day!

Great vid
Cool vid
Nice video, but can you please explain how the callsign in the water carrier’s windscreen denotes its wholetime or retained crewing status? I don’t get it, cuz doesn’t ‘W1’ mean water carrier, simple as that.
It hadn't been changed at the time but its callsign is S01W6
The number denotes the crewing status.
1&2 are wholetime
3&4 are day crewed
im unsure if 5 exists
6&7 is retained
@@EuansEmergencyPhotography thanks for that mate. Didn't realise that's how they worked. I think these new national callsigns are a bit confusing and totally unnecessary if you ask me. Perhaps it's because I'm an old git, stuck in his ways! Like your videos though mate. Keep it up! 👍
