Iowa State fans show heartwarming gesture to children's hospital patients

- Football fans at Iowa State have re-defined "the wave" in a very cool way. As the first quarter drew to a close, Hawkeye fans turned to acknowledge the patients at the university's children's hospital. This gesture is just the latest display of deep ties between the team, it's fans, and the children and families at the hospital. Dana Jacobson reports.

As an Iowa State fan, and alumni, i can only hold admiration for a program that while bitter rivals conduct themsleves with class in unbelievable ways. From one grateful ISU father who once used the UofI Childrens Hospital........GO HAWKS!Keep in mind, at least they didn't say Ohio or Idaho! Only those of us from Iowa will get that. lol

Iowa State? Yikes! Lack of attention to detail by the producers. How did that slip through all the way to the TH-cam video? Makes for a significant distraction to a really great story that is well done beyond that.
