Their performance is focus more on vocal compared to the other team who executed really well in terms of expression of the song. Park Han really carried this performance and deserves to received credit for it but sadly he got only Rank 6 in their Team😢

그루브팀 까면서 리듬 벤치가 이겨야했다는 사람들이 계속 보이는데.. 밑에 4가지를 한 번 생각해봤으면 좋겠다. 1. 애초에 이 곡은 그루팀 특성에 맞게 보컬에 중점을 둔 곡이고, 이번 경연도 '음반 발매'를 위한 거였다. 그럼 보컬에 더 초점을 맞춰서 평가하는게 이상하진 않을텐데? 2. 아이돌이 퍼포먼스가 중요하긴 하지만 근본적으로는 노래를 부르는 직업이다. (그러니까 라이브 못하면 욕먹는 거잖아..) 우리가 특히 자국 노래를 들을 때는 가사도 같이 음미하면서 듣는데, 외국인들로만 되어있는 리듬 벤치팀은 발음이 어눌해서 가사 전달력이 떨어지는 건 사실이다. 가사를 보지 않고 듣기만 하면 정말 못 알아듣겠는 부분이 조금씩 있다는 걸 알 수 있을 것이다. 3. 리듬 벤치팀에게 투표하지 않은게 무조건 외국인 차별이고, 복근 때문에 표 받았다고 막 까고 있는데 오히려 이런 댓글들이 더 차별적이라고 생각하지는 않는지? 그냥 본인 팀 졌다고 무작정 까는 것처럼 보인다. (물론 갠취에 따른 의견이 있을 수 있으나, 말 그대로 과도하게 무작정 '비난'하는 사람들을 말합니다) 4. 가끔 한국인 의견만 반영해서 승패를 정한다 하는데.. 어차피 여기서 데뷔한 애들 k-pop 아이돌 하고 싶다고 온 애들 아닌가? +인기투표라고도 하는데 솔직히 이건 어쩔 수 없는 부분이라고 생각한다. 1차 경연 후 현장 개인 득표수와 2차 경연 후 온라인 개인 득표수만 봐도 뚜렷하게 나타나는 듯한데.. Their performance definitely deserves the win despite all those comments saying otherwise. Everyone shines in this performance. The mistakes were not as glaring as it was in the broadcast version. And lastly, their vocals slayed which is i think one of the important requirement to be an idol.

As a team groove supporter, I can't believe why the votes for Rhythm bench was so low, and also still can't believe why Park Han was placed 6th and Zenzen 13th. But as much as the live audience were biased. If you think about it, the first round online voting was also biased. This is because UL started and closed the first online voting period before any episode was aired. This means that all online voters had not seen live performances of every contestant. So in conclusion, UL handled the votings really badly for this episode as they were both heavily biased. For team Rhythm supporters who say that Groove didn't deserve to win, please hear me out: Whilst Rhythm had Sirin sing most of the time (literally a legend for that tho) and had more consistent choreography, every single member in Groove had a big impact on stage and each member sang very well during the performance. I can confirm that I am not biased with this statement because all members in team Groove had really equal line distributions (you can go back and check how many lines each member sang in Groove throughout this competition and compare it with other teams). Each member in Groove also had additional one to one private lessons with Changsub off-screen despite Changsub's busy schedule with his tour, interviews and youtube series. Only if you look at each member in Groove, you can tell how much improvement each member had made and how some new vocal techniques were used. So if anyone wants to talk about fairness, the fact that each trainee in Groove gets fair treatment off screen and equal screen time during the performance should be enough reason to not hate or downplay team Groove's talent, because I think this team itself is the fairest, and that's enough reason for the team to deserve to win. Also, Changsub also chose contestants who are talented and passionate, he doesn't care about popularity, hence why he chose Sirin to be in Groove (since he ranked so unexpectedly low). So if anyone thinks the results are unfair, blame the producers of Universe League for handling the votes poorly and not having a judge. I have seen too many comments on every platform harassing team Groove and Changsub for being only abs/visuals and racist. Please be more careful with your words and please be more aware of the bigger picture. Not everything is as straightforward as you think. If you've read up until here, thank you for your time. I beg to disagree. The choreo of groove is like choreo from dancer boys from school event. Team rythym bench executed very well professionally both vocals and dance. All of teams expected for rythym bench to win even groove director admitted the defeat 😂

Both are MVP's from Round 1 that were decided too by on-site audience.
Overall, you guys did a great job. I have to compliment Park Han. You have a beautiful and charming voice. Many of the team members have improved a lot as well. I hope your hard work will help you debut, Park Han.
I still think that Team Groove deserve the win. Team Rhythm definitely brought the heat to the stage, but Team Groove’s vocals were on another level nd absolutely breathtaking! Both teams killed it, but Groove’s performance just had that extra magic that made it unforgettable. Of course, we all have different perspectives, and that’s what makes these discussions fun!
I would love to have discussions but others really just intend to put on hate nothing else. I get frustrated because I imagine the toll of it on the recipient who could read their comments
Yes, they're also great but we can't accept the gap between the scores and it definitely shows a biased voting of knetz. Team rhythm bench has the most impactful performance than groove.

My favorite thing about this performance is that the lines were distributed perfectly. Every members was successfully shown and had their fair share of time to showcase what they got. And don't even get me started at their vocals. THEY DEVOURED (ESPECIALLY PARK HAN! THE MAN THAT YOU ARE, HANI!) I guess, that is the reason why they won. Again, special mention to Park Han, you're the best! Your throat chakra was way too strong! That heavenly voice needs to be heard by the world. 달려라한이! Park Han, let's run towards your debut!
There's no point in vocal performance if you're going to mess up the stage. This team's rap was trash, they are very uncoordinated, not sync despite having a way easier choreo. Lol

I won't say anything about the results but I just wanna share my appreciation for Park Han's vocals. It was the best. Really. As a 2nd gen stan, Groove is much closer to 2nd gen than Bench, which is closer to nowadays BG perf (minus the vocals for some BG lol) 😂 Everyone in Groove has their own moment, unlike in Bench, only Sirin got me hooked.
I'm not sure if I'm a gen 2 or 3 stan, but in my opinion, in terms of vibe, groove is more nostalgic and mature (?). It really reminds me of VIXX, BEAST, or even BTOB in the earlier time -mature and charming men. Rhythm is more of a current gen vibe, energetic and very exciting to watch-young men full of burning spirit. Rhythm is catchier in the eyes. But when I close my eyes and listen to the song, I'm more into Groove, their different vocal colors are truly a treat for the ears! But Rhythm sounds good too! Sirin's voice soothe my ears, it's so soft and sweet! I love his voice. I'm a little sad why it wasn't all released 😩 and I'm so mad about the Rhythm team's very low score, The score should be neck-to-neck

While I've been watching the team groove's performance, for me, there is a story to tell that some people don't see from my perspective, it's about werewolves and vampires based on their outfit and background (dark castle with big wall clock). the black with loose short tops emphasize that they are werewolves while the white are the vampires. Kenta (MC) is the one that wants to escape to the chains as he struggles(as they form a chain and as he jumps). he is being restraint. His voice is too deep as hell that makes me shocked that contrasts the high powerful voice of Han. Heejun the other werewolf who plans the leader of the pack (rap) and Gijoong who execute and transform into wolf by what I see on his hand gestures. Jaeho and Gangdong are the prince vampires. Han the vampire king and JeongWoo the new born baby vampire who is too weak because he needs more blood. My own opinion is that kenta wipes his lips that have blood as the background changes to red that heejun also does. Crosshand gestures means they are being tied/handcuffs. Clock means time is ticking before it takes sunrise because darkness makes the vampire stronger. I love their performance especially Kenta's strong intro the story goes on as an act like he is totally in prison in the castle, Park han's voice makes me goosebumps
I agree that Rhythm Bench deserves to win, but my point is some ppl didn't acknowledge or at least recognize some contestants that really did good here. I'm talking about Park Han, Kenta, and Bae Jaeho.
from reading the hate comments they got at twt and tt, u might think they did really bad when in fact the fancam version just proved why they got such high scores for the live votes. as compared to the broadcast version, the live audience had a more accurate representation of their vocals. they projected their vocals really well with so much power and as a whole, they were more balanced and grounded. idk but yall but vocals is the most important factor because at the end of the day, its not like when i listen to the song at spotify, id be listening to them dancing

Having that stable voice in high notes while dancing is not easy.. But we can clearly hear the raw vocals the mix match of members in each part was well executed.. that made their performance amazing..sometimes performance looks perfect even though they have flaws when a group know how to hit a song like their own..choreo are mostly secondary qualification in kpop.. singing with clear stable vocals are much more important thing in music industry specially in live singing if they don't want to experience criticism in the future bonus the visual ofcourse..
Sorry to say but no. I admit that I have a lot of biases in groove team but let be honest that team rhythm bench had an impactful performance over them. The choreo? The vocal? The stage presence? The facial expression? How can you ignore these?

Idk who Park Han is bc I only watch performances on YT as a fan of Changsub but I honestly see everyone did well equally here. No one particularly stood out, so I’m confused that other people are saying this group only relied on that person.
0:47 This one. He’s a Melokid (Mom is a Melody/Omega). I recommend watching the UL eps. It’s funny and cute how some of the trainees were fanboying over Changsub.
I think Rhythm Bench is talented but the vocals are concentrated on one person, while Groove Main has many vocally talented people. Groove Main has a simpler choreo because Changsub wanted to highlight the vocals vs vigorous choreo. Rhythm Bench obviously went for a more energetic one. The live audience also sees a different version from the broadcast version, so obviously the basis for votes will be different. Regarding the Park Han low rank, obviously a lot of people haven't watched the episodes itself... the online votes used to rank him were from the first round of global voting, which ended BEFORE the episodes were aired. He didn't have a strong fanbase then. As evidenced by his second round of global voting ranking (4th overall), people obviously now recognized how talented he is. I believe Groove Main has both a balance of visuals AND talent. Kenta has improved so much and Park Han is still a stunner. Even Seo Jeongwoo has a good low vocal tone that surprises me in contrast to his sweet looks. People should accept the rankings, which have legitimate basis, and stop being bitter and just vote for their picks

그루브팀 까면서 리듬 벤치가 이겨야했다는 사람들이 계속 보이는데.. 밑에 4가지를 한 번 생각해봤으면 좋겠다.
1. 애초에 이 곡은 그루팀 특성에 맞게 보컬에 중점을 둔 곡이고, 이번 경연도 '음반 발매'를 위한 거였다. 그럼 보컬에 더 초점을 맞춰서 평가하는게 이상하진 않을텐데?
2. 아이돌이 퍼포먼스가 중요하긴 하지만 근본적으로는 노래를 부르는 직업이다. (그러니까 라이브 못하면 욕먹는 거잖아..) 우리가 특히 자국 노래를 들을 때는 가사도 같이 음미하면서 듣는데, 외국인들로만 되어있는 리듬 벤치팀은 발음이 어눌해서 가사 전달력이 떨어지는 건 사실이다. 가사를 보지 않고 듣기만 하면 정말 못 알아듣겠는 부분이 조금씩 있다는 걸 알 수 있을 것이다.
3. 리듬 벤치팀에게 투표하지 않은게 무조건 외국인 차별이고, 복근 때문에 표 받았다고 막 까고 있는데 오히려 이런 댓글들이 더 차별적이라고 생각하지는 않는지? 그냥 본인 팀 졌다고 무작정 까는 것처럼 보인다. (물론 갠취에 따른 의견이 있을 수 있으나, 말 그대로 과도하게 무작정 '비난'하는 사람들을 말합니다)
4. 가끔 한국인 의견만 반영해서 승패를 정한다 하는데.. 어차피 여기서 데뷔한 애들 k-pop 아이돌 하고 싶다고 온 애들 아닌가?
+인기투표라고도 하는데 솔직히 이건 어쩔 수 없는 부분이라고 생각한다. 1차 경연 후 현장 개인 득표수와 2차 경연 후 온라인 개인 득표수만 봐도 뚜렷하게 나타나는 듯한데.. (오히려 외국인들이 더 이득을 보고 있기도 하지 않나?) 애초에 아이돌 경연이 다 그렇지 않나? 심지어 데뷔한 아이돌 경연도 인기투표로 결정되는 경우가 대부분인데..

As a team groove supporter, I can't believe why the votes for Rhythm bench was so low, and also still can't believe why Park Han was placed 6th and Zenzen 13th. But as much as the live audience were biased. If you think about it, the first round online voting was also biased. This is because UL started and closed the first online voting period before any episode was aired. This means that all online voters had not seen live performances of every contestant. So in conclusion, UL handled the votings really badly for this episode as they were both heavily biased.
For team Rhythm supporters who say that Groove didn't deserve to win, please hear me out:
Whilst Rhythm had Sirin sing most of the time (literally a legend for that tho) and had more consistent choreography, every single member in Groove had a big impact on stage and each member sang very well during the performance. I can confirm that I am not biased with this statement because all members in team Groove had really equal line distributions (you can go back and check how many lines each member sang in Groove throughout this competition and compare it with other teams). Each member in Groove also had additional one to one private lessons with Changsub off-screen despite Changsub's busy schedule with his tour, interviews and youtube series. Only if you look at each member in Groove, you can tell how much improvement each member had made and how some new vocal techniques were used.
So if anyone wants to talk about fairness, the fact that each trainee in Groove gets fair treatment off screen and equal screen time during the performance should be enough reason to not hate or downplay team Groove's talent, because I think this team itself is the fairest, and that's enough reason for the team to deserve to win. Also, Changsub also chose contestants who are talented and passionate, he doesn't care about popularity, hence why he chose Sirin to be in Groove (since he ranked so unexpectedly low).
So if anyone thinks the results are unfair, blame the producers of Universe League for handling the votes poorly and not having a judge. I have seen too many comments on every platform harassing team Groove and Changsub for being only abs/visuals and racist. Please be more careful with your words and please be more aware of the bigger picture. Not everything is as straightforward as you think.

I beg to disagree. The choreo of groove is like choreo from dancer boys from school event. Team rythym bench executed very well professionally both vocals and dance. All of teams expected for rythym bench to win even groove director admitted the defeat 😂

You forgot to add that performing like that is already done by 2nd-early 3rd gen idols. It's outdated. Are we watching the same video? GROOVE MAIN team's performance looks empty and being performed by a near-retirement senior idol.

I still think that Team Groove deserve the win. Team Rhythm definitely brought the heat to the stage, but Team Groove’s vocals were on another level nd absolutely breathtaking! Both teams killed it, but Groove’s performance just had that extra magic that made it unforgettable. Of course, we all have different perspectives, and that’s what makes these discussions fun!

My favorite thing about this performance is that the lines were distributed perfectly. Every members was successfully shown and had their fair share of time to showcase what they got. And don't even get me started at their vocals. THEY DEVOURED (ESPECIALLY PARK HAN! THE MAN THAT YOU ARE, HANI!) I guess, that is the reason why they won.

their voices suited well on this song, it’s like it was made for them to sing it. this is a song that doesn’t require hard choreo tbh. everyone was too harsh on team groove when they did great. i like sirin but no, park han was the best on this one. park han ranked 6 because that’s the voting where people mostly didn’t know where to vote so i know that he will be at the top 5 in the next online voting. please don’t doubt groove, there’s a reason changsub chose them. 🙂↕️

방송도 봤지만 하도 말이 많길래 양쪽 풀캠 다시 봤는데 확실히 그루브팀이 한국멤버가 많으니 듣기도 편하고 잘 들리네요~ 이게 후보정해서 내보내는 방송보다 생라이브로 듣는 현장에서는 꽤 큰 부분을 차지한거 같음~ 그리고 멤버 한두명에 치우친게 아니라 모두가 잘 보였음~

Two teams have different concepts, but remember this song is about nostalgia and relies on vocals. rhythm team is good but they can't bring it to life as good as groove team, that's what the live audience sees and feels. you should think objectively🤯😑

As a 2nd gen stan, I have come to accept that the next generation of korean standard is always putting visuals on top over everything else. But understanding that doesn’t mean there is no frustration. This was good IF it wasn’t a comparison with the other team. Park Han at 6 when he carried the team is such a joke 😂
Don’t 2nd gen groups prioritize vocals? Park Han’s vocal is the best, but he didn’t carry the team by himself. Everyone did their parts really well.

Actually it's because UL's voting system was biased. The voting ended the next day after this episode was aired so of course people won't know who to vote cuz UL didn't air a single Groove stage last week
As a 2nd gen stan, Groove is much closer to 2nd gen than Bench, which is closer to nowadays BG perf (minus the vocals for some BG lol) 😂 Everyone in Groove has their own moment, unlike in Bench, only Sirin got me hooked.
I'm not sure if I'm a gen 2 or 3 stan, but in my opinion, in terms of vibe, groove is more nostalgic and mature (?). It really reminds me of VIXX, BEAST, or even BTOB in the earlier time -mature and charming men. Rhythm is more of a current gen vibe, energetic and very exciting to watch-young men full of burning spirit. Rhythm is catchier in the eyes. But when I close my eyes and listen to the song, I'm more into Groove, their different vocal colors are truly a treat for the ears!
But Rhythm sounds good too! Sirin's voice soothe my ears, it's so soft and sweet! I love his voice. I'm a little sad why it wasn't all released 😩 and I'm so mad about the Rhythm team's very low score, The score should be neck-to-neck

다른팀꺼 똑같은 노래 보고왔는데 방송버전 아니고 직캠이라 가사 자막이 없으니 확실히 두팀의 가사전달력 차이가 느껴진다. 그루브팀은 보컬이나 퍼포먼스도 잘하는데다 뭐라고 하는지 가사가 귀에 쏙쏙 박힘. 다른팀꺼 보면서 한국어로 부르는 노래를 한국인이 듣는데 뭐라는지 잘 안들려서 당황스러웠음...

While I've been watching the team groove's performance, for me, there is a story to tell that some people don't see from my perspective, it's about werewolves and vampires based on their outfit and background (dark castle with big wall clock). the black with loose short tops emphasize that they are werewolves while the white are the vampires.
Kenta (MC) is the one that wants to escape to the chains as he struggles(as they form a chain and as he jumps). he is being restraint. His voice is too deep as hell that makes me shocked that contrasts the high powerful voice of Han. Heejun the other werewolf who plans the leader of the pack (rap) and Gijoong who execute and transform into wolf by what I see on his hand gestures. Jaeho and Gangdong are the prince vampires. Han the vampire king and JeongWoo the new born baby vampire who is too weak because he needs more blood. My own opinion is that kenta wipes his lips that have blood as the background changes to red that heejun also does. Crosshand gestures means they are being tied/handcuffs. Clock means time is ticking before it takes sunrise because darkness makes the vampire stronger.
I love their performance especially Kenta's strong intro the story goes on as an act like he is totally in prison in the castle, Park han's voice makes me goosebumps
I hope more people will recognize Kenta’s ability, he did really good here. I don't get the hate, sorry :

from reading the hate comments they got at twt and tt, u might think they did really bad when in fact the fancam version just proved why they got such high scores for the live votes. as compared to the broadcast version, the live audience had a more accurate representation of their vocals. they projected their vocals really well with so much power and as a whole, they were more balanced and grounded. idk but yall but vocals is the most important factor because at the end of the day, its not like when i listen to the song at spotify, id be listening to them dancing

Having that stable voice in high notes while dancing is not easy.. But we can clearly hear the raw vocals the mix match of members in each part was well executed.. that made their performance amazing..sometimes performance looks perfect even though they have flaws when a group know how to hit a song like their own..choreo are mostly secondary qualification in kpop.. singing with clear stable vocals are much more important thing in music industry specially in live singing if they don't want to experience criticism in the future bonus the visual ofcourse..

Idk who Park Han is bc I only watch performances on YT as a fan of Changsub but I honestly see everyone did well equally here. No one particularly stood out, so I’m confused that other people are saying this group only relied on that person.
0:47 This one. He’s a Melokid (Mom is a Melody/Omega). I recommend watching the UL eps. It’s funny and cute how some of the trainees were fanboying over Changsub.

I think Rhythm Bench is talented but the vocals are concentrated on one person, while Groove Main has many vocally talented people. Groove Main has a simpler choreo because Changsub wanted to highlight the vocals vs vigorous choreo. Rhythm Bench obviously went for a more energetic one.
The live audience also sees a different version from the broadcast version, so obviously the basis for votes will be different.
Regarding the Park Han low rank, obviously a lot of people haven't watched the episodes itself... the online votes used to rank him were from the first round of global voting, which ended BEFORE the episodes were aired. He didn't have a strong fanbase then. As evidenced by his second round of global voting ranking (4th overall), people obviously now recognized how talented he is.
I believe Groove Main has both a balance of visuals AND talent. Kenta has improved so much and Park Han is still a stunner. Even Seo Jeongwoo has a good low vocal tone that surprises me in contrast to his sweet looks.
People should accept the rankings, which have legitimate basis, and stop being bitter and just vote for their picks
