Thank you so much for not spending 6 minutes talking about your life story and why you need to replace the battery, etc. Straight to the point and clear. 🙏
I love how most button cell batteries in our daily lives are the CR 2032. I keep a stash of them on hand at all times and it addresses like 95% of my button cell needs! My keyless entry needed a CR2016 but I can't remember the time before that that I needed a different cell other than that! Thanks for the video I was having trouble opening the shell
TYSM ~ I asked for help when mine quit working about a month ago... Today I am proud to have successfully resolved this problem with your most informative video!
Glad you posted this. Our opener was just like yours only blue. Video made it easy to install. Hardest part of the whole thing was getting the replacement battery out of the plastic packaging. Thanks for making that difficult Duracell...
Dear Key Fob Rob, Thank you kindly for taking the time to help all of us, I offer you a very sincere thanks. The world is a better place because you're part of it. Appreciate ya boss. Warm regards, Some guy
Thanks for posting this video. There is nothing in the manual about how to take the device apart and there is no notch in the case to give a place to start. This video establishes the control can come apart and exactly how to do it. It only took a minute to replace my battery after watching this video. Thanks again.
Thank you for the video. The replacement 2032 battery I purchased was significantly thinner than the original. I had to insert a piece of wire in the gap between the new battery and its housing to make sure that it stayed in place.
Success This video was excellent! At first, I tried to do it on my own, and had no clue what to do after watching this video it was literally a snap and took me less than a minute to get the battery changed. Thank you so much!
Still relevant after two years. I had a feeling I knew how to do it but something told me, there's no way they want me to split the case. Well, I guess they do. lol... Thanks.
@@KeyFobRob I took our remote garage door clicker to the local hardware store, and they changed the battery for me. Drove home, the remote worked, I drove in the garage! 🥰
@@KeyFobRob Thanks. I just checked and it's aligned, with a post/hole in each corner that keeps it in place. Neither test button worked. But the main thing is that the remote works. Btw, what is the other button for?
Nice , thanks , I was getting a laugh out of my wife pressing button by back door and jumping over sensor, hit her head this morning, gotta change battery
This would be very helpful if this is how my battery was. Unfortunately, on my battery the bar holding the battery in is just a straight bar across and I can't see any way of getting the battery out without breaking that straight bar. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just push the battery with a small screw driver - gently, it will come out.
