hm. this was one of the first Celtic folk songs I ever heard. this brings back memories. like when Celtic Woman used to be shown on PBS every year, and back when Star Wars: The Clone Wars was still on, Dimension W was on Toonami, AOT Season 1 was on Toonami, and Regular Show was a brand new show that just premiering. Regular Show (Star Wars: The Clone Wars doesn't count as it got canceled without getting an official final season) is the first multi-season show I've watched that's gone start to finish all in my lifetime. its kinda of a big deal for me, mostly cuz it makes me feel old, as all the other of my multi-season shows either started before I was born, hasn't ended yet, or both.
I love this song but this gets me EVERY TIME It does not even give me the slightest idea of what it could mean, like did you travel at relativistic speed, so you mean it took you years? Sub relativistic speed, so it took you possibly centuries if not millennia? Did you travel at tachyonic speed? And if you did how much faster than light? And how many light years? Milky way lightyears or nearest galaxy lightyears? Literally this could mean "it took me millennia" or "it took me a few days" and it drives me nuts

Then again it's not that different from when scientist goes out in nature to put op some weird mirror just to see who the animals react, yeah he was def just doing this so they could observe how we acted to the song.
