I just started riding this year. My wife has been riding for a while and I thought I would give it a go. I tested some bikes and initially bought the Specialized Diverge, which is also great and was within my budget and experience at that time. This CAAD 12 was really the 3rd bike I tested but it was slightly out of the budget. Well 6 months and several rides later, I never forgot the CAAD 12. I couldn't quit thinking about how good it felt. Everything mentioned in this video is true in my opinion. People would say do your research and get a good fit. Well I did both and one day I just couldn't wait anymore and I bought it because I knew I would ride it. It is fast, handles wonderfully, and is really light. All of the components etc. work fantastic. I really haven't felt the need to upgrade anything at all. OH, it really does make you smile. If you test it and don't like it, then you don't like it. Cilantro is good if you like it. I am a 56 in a Specialized Diverge and 54 in CAAD 12. I could have done the 56 in CAAD 12 but I am glad that I didn't because I might have been good stretched out. Get a good fit and if you buy this bike, you are going to really love it. Maybe one day I will try carbon, but I am in no hurry to buy anything at all with this wonderful machine. I haven't had any complaints about the paint job either, but to each his/her own. All the best.
I really like mine, same '16 105 model as this. Hard to beat if you are on a budget. The paint scheme looks better in person, and that black paint actually has multi-color sparkles in the finish, small/subtle but when the sunlight hits it can see.
I have a caad8. Upgraded the drivetrain, wheels and cockpit. And now it is as good as the carbon bikes that cost more than 3 times its cost. No wonder new caad 12 will beat everything in its price category. Great video!
I have owned this model for about 3 months. I absolutly love the handling at any stack hieght. I rail the corners better than one else. Plus the frame has been so well designed that it beats out my old 08 felt f75 with carbon seatstays and carbon seatpost in comfort. Amazed at how it reduces road impact on shallow pot holes at my typical psi of 95 on 25mm tires.
Just picked one of these up with ultegra bc of your enthusiasm ! (I been riding a 500 dollar MTB )so I guess this is a quantum leap up : ) Enjoy the channel, thanks.
I have an Ultegra CAAD12. It is simply the best bang for the buck bike on the market. With a set of Enve wheels, pedals and cages the bike comes in at 17 lbs even. It puts bikes 3x the price to shame, and it will last a decade or more of hard riding. Again, this is the best bang for the buck bike around. No, I do not work Cannondale. My other bike is a Parlee ESX, and overtime I get on board the CAAD12 I am blown away by its precision, smoothness, out of the saddle power throw downs, etc. This bike is all deserving...and Cannondale makes mega margins on these bikes.
I love this video. I just purchased the CAAD 12 Black Inc. and I'll be installing full Ultegra components. I'm excited after seeing this video. Thanks.
Finally track down a CAAD 12 105 in my size 48cm, yes I am short. Should be at local bike within the next two weeks. I was almost ready to give up looking and go for a Trek Emonda ALR5. Can't wait, give review once I ride it.
Got my bike it a great ride over 1000km on it already. It is true it want to go fast. It want go so fast that my fitness level may have improve to match it 😀. As for those who complaint about the paint job, it absolutely gorgeous when you see it in person. It does have one weakness, those Schwable Lugano tires suck big time. Had a flat, change it on the road with new tube. Once I got home pump it to proper pressure and the tube blew. I put another tube and this I pump it up very slowly and notice the side walls near the bead was separating. Bottomline the tire is fucked already. This is an amazing bike that come with shit tires, I guess nothing is 100% perfect but it close for the money.
+Jim Thompson Over 3000km still loving it. One other minor problem squeaky back brakes after every bike wash and chain lube. My bike shop blames lube contamination of the brake pads. Replace the pads and charge me $6 for the pads. I am now very carefully when I lube my chain and I wipe off any excess. Still squeak, didn't want replace the pads again so I just keep riding using the rear brakes lightly and sparingly. After a week of good riding it went away and only come back after the next wash and lube. Thanks to the CAAD 12 my fitness level is improving and I faster than ever. Would have more KM on it but I have to ride my 2015 Giant Defy Advanced every now and again. One my best purchase ever, happy as hell🚴👍😀!
nightfly222 Well still sounds pretty good. Do you know if Giant TCR Advanced frames as shown below are High Mod carbon or cheap entry level carbon frame? Because in the description it says "Advanced Grade composite", however the price doesn't reflect what I'd consider to be good carbon. Not even middle of the range: www.giant-bicycles.com/au/bikes-tcr-advanced
+Jim Thompson they definitely not high mod at that price point you have that buy the TCR Sl with the integrated seat post for that. Still Giant regular carbon for their Advanced is still pretty good stuff they are just not as light. Giant make the majority of the Carbon Fiber for bicycle in the world. Giant price pt is always lower than most of the other major bike maker since they control everything in the manufacturing process. Plus Giant always get the good stuff first.
Dear Bikeradar. I am trying to decide whether to go with the Caad12 or a supersix evo. I would like a bit of comfort. I am currently riding a S-works Tarmac sl3 in a size 56, but, as i said: i am looking for a bit more comfort. Furthermore i just love ale-bikes!!!
My mom still runs a cannondale aluminum frameset she bought in the mid eighties. Cannondale knows what their doing with alloy frames! My Felt F75 has a sexier paintjob though.
+1justinbowen hahah, I'm sure we can agree on that, at my price point just getting into road cycling from MTB £800 was my limit so the specialized Allez elite was my option and I didn't feel it met the same quality as the CAAD. But a venge, sign me up right now for one of them haha
+Lavinmore Nothing wrong with 105...and anyone who thinks it isn't up to par, frankly is a bit of an idiot, I would prefer that to Ultegra myself... especially when you consider the price, it's very good value for money and as you say... smooth enough. Don't you find bike snobbery obnoxious... I know i do. Not a good look, as they say :)
Just bought a 2017 CAAD 12 yesterday, now waiting for it to be delivered. It's a 105 rim brake, thinking of some upgrades, what do you think for upgrades?
what is the widest tire you can ride with avoid rub or even void warranty? i hope 28mm? would this be more 'aero' than the trek emonda Alr? just curious but not going for all out aero...thanks guys!
There's a factory in mexico which also has something to do with cannodale bikes, it's called alubike, they offer a very similar bike (it's almost the same) it's called citroen team, it costs about 700 us dollar, and it's amazing.
Absolutely love your channel - probably the BEST in the business! Great review of the CAAD12 105. I have narrowed my selection down to three bikes - the CAAD12 105, Specialized Tarmac Comp and the GIANT Propel Advance 2. Would love to know your opinion on which of the three mentioned would be the best bet and would love your opinion/take on the 2016 Specialized Tarmac Comp - is the rider fit system fluff or not. Thanks in advance. Cheers!
Thanks, it means a lot to us that you think so. We definitely think the CAAD12 is the best buy this year, hence it's BotY win. We have a review of the Tarmac Comp here - goo.gl/JVm0w9 , but haven't tested this year's Propel Advanced 2. We gave the 2015 model five stars though - goo.gl/zSHcpr .
I would like to second that! I keep watching it over and over. I can see so much work and enthusiasm has gone into producing this. I bought this bike instead of carbon but the Ultegra version, and the thing that really lets it down are the useless Mavic tubes, tyres and wheels. Cannondale and you other big manufacturers, please spec better tyres and tubes! Why should we buy a new bike which is hardly cheap and have to change the tyres after only two or three rides?!!
Is that an issue though? I can only see it as an aesthetic issue, almost all ALU bikes have welds and if one recieves ultegra, pressfit BB and 500£ wheels then surely it's a non-issue?
+Andrew Lord.. I wanted the cannondale cadd 12 but out of stock. I decided on a cannondale synapse. Love the bike it suits me as more upright position. Out of the 2 . Boardman and cannondale I would say cannondale only because Boardman are done through halfords and I prefer to use a specialist bike shop.
Did you guys test the Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 6.0? another bike of the year 2016 winner. Also would tacking on carbon fiber clinchers make a significant improvement? and overall, a badass bike for the value?
Help! Caad 10 2015 with carbon Ritchey stem and carbon Bondrager dropbars, including stock stem and dropbars, full 105 at 800€ or at 1000€ with fast forward f4r carbon wheels or Caad 12 2016 stock, full 105 at 1000€. Both in great condition.
Kysriums Pros. Not the entry-level Aksiums fitted with the bike. But that's how Cannondale sells the fully-stocked CAAD12, to cut back about US$750 from the price tag.
The disc models have a TA on the front and a QR on the rear, big mistake from Cannondale I think. Better to wait for the next model when surely they'll have TAs on front and rear.
The Caad12 is better to me than the TCR advanced, and for the money it's a no brainier. Fitted with a good set of wheels and its up there with the best of them.
+jyexe525 the Tarmac is a nice ride, had an Sl4 and EVO back in 2014. Rented a CAAD10 back in California did 65mi group ride on it. Got back home to Florida and sold the EVO and Tarmac, bought 2014 CAAD10 black inc and a set of Reynolds attack wheel set and could not be happier. The CAAD is a hell of a frame and is not giving anything up to carbon. Now I have two CAADs in the stable just bought a CAAD12 105 the 12 is even smoother and more compliant in the front and rear but is still stiff in the bottom bracket and Is agile has the CAAD10 a lot of R&D went into this frame.
I actually bought it as my very first proper road bike. Absolutely recommend it. It really is great fun to ride this bike, so I am a lot more motivated to give 100% and train hard to get better.
Angelo Pantoja i don’t know but I have a CaaD12 and I love it, i was thinking on getting the TCR 2018 but this is the dilemma, CaaD is $1,699 18.6 pounds aluminum, the TCR is 19 pounds for $1,735. 1,699 for Good quality Aluminium or 1,735 for Low quality carbon and a lil bit more weight? Btw I did ended paying 1,300 for the caad12 brand new. But to be honest I still want the TCR lol.
Got mine on clearance but would have happily paid retail. stiff fast handles great comfortable but like others said the color scheme could have been better. I like green so I'm okay with it but others not so much.
+Anthony Sibley 56cm - stock - 17.90 pounds on Feedback hanging scale. My old Caad9 with Sram Rival 10 speed, Vision wheels and K-force stem/bars/seatpost weighs 14.99 lbs in a 58cm WITH speedplay pedals and 2 bottle cages.
At my LBS, the sram red22 version is only 500$ less than the evo, why would someone buy this instead of an evo? Considering that everything else is the same, I think you even get the new ksyriums vs old ksyriums on the evo
Well I sold my EVO 2014 model and bought a caad10 after renting one back in California. Now I own a CAAD 10 and 12 and the 12 is smoother than the 10. The caad 10 and 12 is not giving anything up to the EVO. And for the price it's a no brainier.
+Sebastian Dahlsveen you are right... the CAAD12 DISC 105 has an awesome paint job... i dont understand why they put this ugly paintjob on the most mainstream model...
Will it be a bad idea to have custom built CAAD12 with Tiagra group set (due to budget limit). I know it is a bit of injustice to such a great frame set :). Would be great if somebody can share their opinion
I think the CAAD12 Ultegra is better bang for the buck. For an extra $400 or so you get better cranks, a carbon seatpost, and better wheels on top of the obvious groupset improvements.
0:55 "We haven't seen aluminium in this quality and this grade since way back in the 90s". Aluminum frames have always been better than the 90s. Unless you're referring to the early 2000s where investments in aluminum frames declined, every new aluminum frame that came out of the Cannondale factory has always been better than the other. You must be referring to how much bigger the aluminum frame market has gotten over recent years like the 90s.
Most industries operate in this fashion. The quality of the final product is mostly determined in the design/engineering phase. The designers specify the manufacturing techniques and quality standards to be upheld by the manufacturer. Just because two bikes are made at the same plant does not mean that they are the same quality.
go ally frames! finally alloy is so much better value for money than carbon i honestly believe the difference is marginal alloy frames are harsher but thats in comparison to steel and is explained by the tube shapes. go alloy
Man marginal is not the word, I have owned 2013 supersix EVO and sl4 Tarmac, rented a CAAD 10 back in California early 2014. When I got back home to Florida, I sold my EVO and Tarmac and purchase 2014 CAAD 10 and set of Reynolds attack carbon clincher wheel set and could be happier the CAAD 10 - 12 is a hell of a frame and it doesn't give up anything to carbon, and just purchased CAAD12 105 so I have two CAADs in the stable at the moment. The CAAD 12 is even smoother riding and more compliant that the CAAD 10 especially in the front and rear but still has that stiffness and agility it's a hell of a ride a lot of R& D when into this frame.
And those who think this bike is not value for money....show me another frame at this price with the same weight. Its not important that whether that is made of aluminium or carbon. So what it is made of aluminium? It can take down all bikes upto 2000$ costing only 1300$ as long as BB30 doesnt make creaks and that is most important...not whether it is made of aluminium or carbon.
+Carbon Bike sure !!!! I CAN , If I'm not notice them while I'm riding this bike, I can die any time on the road ...... It's not a after 1 year but after a 1 DAY !! common this is a cannondale best bike of the year.....
+BikeRadar +AftershockPS3 Yes, please do follow up with the outcome. I bought a CAAD12 Ultegra a couple weeks ago and it's an amazing bike. Very light, responsive, and fast. Sorry you've had this issue.
after bring my bike back to the shop where I'm brought from there. The owner of the shop look at my bike carbon fork . and he said it's not a carbon crack (I don't understand much what 's he talking) It's just about problem of finishing. He said to me please don't worry about it. So I've to bring my bike back to my home . and continue using it....... I'm hoping he said it was true. and the rest it's a good bike.
Too bad they aren't made in the USA anymore. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if it were. I'll stick to my US made Cannondale f400 dual assault and upgrade to a US made Milwaukee bicycle Co bike before I go to college next year.
Why do people still think carbon is only about weight? Lightness is only one benefit of carbon. You can make an aluminium bike as light as carbon it just won't be as comfortable or as stiff or as well riding. And what a surprise. Cannondale again. I wonder the sponsorship agreement between them really.
+Jon Poker I wouldn't have any objection if they would have chosen Supersix Evo as bike of the year. But saying an entry-mid level bike is the best bike for 2016 just does not make any sense. Is this bike better than your Super Six, Cervelo R5 or S5, Canyon Ultimate or Aeroad, Focus Izalco Max, Pinarello Dogma F8 or K8S, Trek Madone, Merida Scultura, BMC TM01 and many more just better bikes that can be listed? No obviously not. Yes sure these are more expensive but the title doesn't include any price tag or range like others they will post. So this should be a money no object just plain the best bike there is. And I am sorry it might be good and maybe the best aluminium I don't know but I know that it is just not the best bike there is. A Video like this just only makes it seem like Cannondale needs some extra marketing on this bike for 2016.
+rondar2 read the text under the video - Cycling Plus' annual search for the best road bike has come to an end. This year, it's been split over four different price groups, with the winner in this category - £1000-1500 - being the Cannondale CAAD12 105.
My caad10 and 12 is just as stiff and performance and ride quality is up there with the best of them. And believe me when I tell you I have rented and ridden every brand out there.
+rondar2 yes it is as good as all those bikes, it's not giving up anything to those bikes. Put on a good set of wheels on a very well designed frame like the Caad 10-12 and its right up there with those bikes. And for the money it's a no brainier.
It appears Giant got what they deserved in a Florida court Vs a bike dealer ! Check it out or yourself when u can.Respectfully,Kim-pres. Fox River Sports

+PBS Mahapatra It depends on the options. A CAAD12 disc DuraAce is the same price than a Supersix EVO Hi-Mod with Ultegra
Have you had problems with the bottom bracket?
I have owned this model for about 3 months. I absolutly love the handling at any stack hieght. I rail the corners better than one else. This bike is "shut up and take my money" certified.
Indeed it is!
I too have the 12... absolutely love it
Just picked one of these up with ultegra bc of your enthusiasm !
(I been riding a 500 dollar MTB )so I guess this is a quantum leap up : )
Enjoy the channel, thanks.
I just bought this Bike in January with disc brakes. I knew it was the best. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Got this bike second hand for £500 over a year ago. Never had a problem with it, super lightweight and comfortable!

Just got this bike but currently using my Cube road bike...can't wait to unleash it in the summer with Cero RC45 wheels!
im considering the caad12 as my next bike would it perform well in the local road race scene compared to a carbon model.
I love this video. I just purchased the CAAD 12 Black Inc. and I'll be installing full Ultegra components. I'm excited after seeing this video. Thanks.
Damn, you're rich af

Bikeradar you are so right about how good the CAAD 12 is . However please mention about the BB30. Please.
Noisy?
I'm watching from Italy. Great review / video. Thank you very much !
Caad 12 Owner +1
Just picked up brand new frame n fork 2016 Caad8. Can't wait to build it up.
Tarmac 4 me.

Great bikes, made in USA untill 2009..
Great review, thank you! Do you know what the maximum tire clearance is?
This thing is a climbing beast...so so so good!!!
Cannondale was the winner, WOW I would never have guessed.
As an owner of a CAAD8 Shimano 105, I've got to agree, it's the best bike I've ever rode
+Lavinmore 105 lol!
+Vax Buster yeah 105, at 22 speed it's smooth enough for me on any terrain, I suppose you're going to tell me your Dura Ace Di2 is better ;)
+1justinbowen hahah, I'm sure we can agree on that, at my price point just getting into road cycling from MTB £800 was my limit so the specialized Allez elite was my option and I didn't feel it met the same quality as the CAAD. But a venge, sign me up right now for one of them haha

+Vax Buster And what?
Just bought a 2017 CAAD 12 yesterday, now waiting for it to be delivered. It's a 105 rim brake, thinking of some upgrades, what do you think for upgrades?
It should have something on the seat post to damper the road vibration like trek has with ISO speed.. That thing is phenomenal!
what is the widest tire you can ride with avoid rub or even void warranty? i hope 28mm? would this be more 'aero' than the trek emonda Alr? just curious but not going for all out aero...thanks guys!
I can´t find this bike on the Cannondale website, only the CAAD12 105 DISC version.
There's a factory in mexico which also has something to do with cannodale bikes, it's called alubike, they offer a very similar bike (it's almost the same) it's called citroen team, it costs about 700 us dollar, and it's amazing.
I have a Cannondale and it's great for when I have hill days
CAAD 12 VS SUPER SIX EVO
WHICH ONE WILL YOU GUYS CHOOSEAND WHY?
Caad12 105 or B twin 920af ultegra which one is better ?
could you be helpful with your opinion on which bike i should go with?
Absolutely love your channel - probably the BEST in the business! Great review of the CAAD12 105. did you consider canyon? best value for money
I did consider canyon but the welds on their aluminium bikes are shockingly bad!
Is that an issue though? I can only see it as an aesthetic issue, almost all ALU bikes have welds and if one recieves ultegra, pressfit BB and 500£ wheels then surely it's a non-issue?
How much will it cost in Vancouver?
CAAD12 Ultegra. Best bike out there. Still love the Emonda ALR though.
There needs to be a long term review of it. We need to see the problems with the bikes. Not just how great each bike is because of the name brand.
Great bike. I own a 19 and have done great rides with it. Almost got rid of it but lucky i did not
tcr slr 2 vs caad12 which one is better?
Khairul Azlan Abd Razak same question
caad for sure. no question.
This bike or the Boardman road pro carbon slr 2016?
I've got this dilemma too....which did you choose??
+Andrew Lord.. I wanted the cannondale cadd 12 but out of stock. I decided on a cannondale synapse.
Love the bike it suits me as more upright position.
Out of the 2 . Boardman and cannondale I would say cannondale only because Boardman are done through halfords and I prefer to use a specialist bike shop.
+Rocking in a free world you can buy it for £699 as a frame set online Sigmasport.co.uk
Did you guys test the Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 6.0? another bike of the year 2016 winner.

Should I buy this as my first bike or wait for the 2017 model? Also should I get the 105 and or is the Ultegra upgrade worth it?
Canondale emo is it temperamental?
If it worth getting the disc now prices have dropped???
yes
BikeRadar what would be the biggest difference between cannondale CAAD seriece and supersix evo .
Aluminium vs. carbon fibre
so its just the material. what about the geometry ?
+axle bautista similar geometry and technology
What's the white bike at 2:57 please?
+thacrackfox supersix evo dura ace
I'm getting a caad12 105 as my first Road bike, it will cost me about 1500 euro. Is it worth considering ultegra or disc brakes? It's the 2017 model.
Just bought one. An Ultegra disc
The disc models have a TA on the front and a QR on the rear, big mistake from Cannondale I think. Better to wait for the next model when surely they'll have TAs on front and rear.
You wait, Ill ride.
Frank Burst Haha owned him! Great bike - I've only got 105 disc, but love it!
Same here with Ultegra but without the disc.
which one is the mort comfortable between Caad12 and Giant tcr advanced 2 ?
tcr advanced 👍
The Caad12 is better to me than the TCR advanced, and for the money it's a no brainier. Fitted with a good set of wheels and its up there with the best of them.
+Romeo Fowler I finally chose a tarmac elite
+Romeo Fowler but the tarmac is comfortable bike also ?
Would this be a good bike for someone just getting into cycling?
If it's a good fit for you and is within your budget then we absolutely recommend it. See if you can get a test ride at your local Cannondale dealer.
I actually bought it as my very first proper road bike. Absolutely recommend it. It really is great fun to ride this bike, so I am a lot more motivated to give 100% and train hard to get better.
Marque Benion I've bought one as my first road bike and totally in love with it! Caad 12 ftw
Hi im saving to buy a roadbike, which is much better the caad 12 or the giant tcr advanced 2? Your comments would be surely appreciated :)
I like green so I'm okay with it but others not so much.
what is the weight of the bike please?
+Anthony Sibley our sized 56cm review bike weighed in at 8.1kg.
+Anthony Sibley 1:41
+Bikes & Beans Thanks bud
+Anthony Sibley I have 56cm CAAD12 105 disc with 105 pedals and it weighs 21.5Lbs
Guys I need help Caad12 105 or B'twin 920af ultegra ?
Sizing Help:
I'm 178 cm (5ft10") with 83 cm (32,5) inseam. Saddle height is at 73 cm from BB. It' s my first real road bike
Size 54 or 52?
56
174cm height...which frame size do I need?
+Fahr Rad 52-54

Just got my CAAD 12 105 for £1250 boxed and posted from hargroves cycles UK.
Is the caad 12 Di2 compatible?
yes
At my LBS, the sram red22 version is only 500$ less than the evo, why would someone buy this instead of an evo? Considering that everything else is the same, I think you even get the new ksyriums vs old ksyriums on the evo
Well I sold my EVO 2014 model and bought a caad10 after renting one back in California. Now I own a CAAD 10 and 12 and the 12 is smoother than the 10. The caad 10 and 12 is not giving anything up to the EVO. And for the price it's a no brainier.
Just too bad the paintjobs are so incredibly dull
+Sebastian Dahlsveen
you are right... the CAAD12 DISC 105 has an awesome paint job... i dont understand why they put this ugly paintjob on the most mainstream model...
Check out Caad12 colors. Though I think its exclusive to Japan.
thank you for choosing affordable bike.
This or CanyonUltimate CF SL 7.0?
Caad12 or Emonda sl5, torn between the two, someone help
Emonda slr 6
Marty the cheese Caad12 you won’t be disappointed.
I'm going to get the Ultegra version. It is beast!
Hi guys would feel the same about the Caad 08
I'm pretty happy I started buying this bike. I put it away before it got this prize, so I guess I was write.
Will it be a bad idea to have custom built CAAD12 with Tiagra group set
(due to budget limit). I know it is a bit of injustice to such a great
frame set :). Would be great if somebody can share their opinion
Can't find it in women's on Cannondale site, only CAAD10?
This bike is like if the Caad 10 and the SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod had a baby! : )
I think the CAAD12 Ultegra is better bang for the buck. For an extra $400 or so you get better cranks, a carbon seatpost, and better wheels on top of the obvious groupset improvements.
I'm getting this for my birthday in June, as I can't really afford the Pinarello Dogma f8
The question is: Do you say "aluminium" the way that Apple does?
This review will be to blame for my first road bike i will be getting in month or so :)
What a surprise...
Good news for the folks working in the GIANT factory then!!
+seanek9 Thats a hat trick for Giant in my books then! 2014 Cannondale Synapse; 2015 BMC GranFondo; 2016 Cannondale CAAD12. All manufactured by Giant.
+Alessandro DeSantis cough cough.. hahaha
Most industries operate in this fashion. The quality of the final product is mostly determined in the design/engineering phase. The designers specify the manufacturing techniques and quality standards to be upheld by the manufacturer. Just because two bikes are made at the same plant does not mean that they are the same quality.
cannondale la mejor marca si
go ally frames! finally alloy is so much better value for money than carbon i honestly believe the difference is marginal alloy frames are harsher but thats in comparison to steel and is explained by the tube shapes.
The CAAD 12 is even smoother riding and more compliant that the CAAD 10 especially in the front and rear but still has that stiffness and agility it's a hell of a ride a lot of R& D when into this frame.
glad I own one!
looks like a brilliant machine
I would buy this bike if it hadnt been for the color scheme
NICE WORK 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥
And those who think this bike is not value for money....show me another frame at this price with the same weight. Its not important that whether that is made of aluminium or carbon. So what it is made of aluminium? It can take down all bikes upto 2000$ costing only 1300$ as long as BB30 doesnt make creaks and that is most important...not whether it is made of aluminium or carbon.
nearly had me going there GCN, happy April fools days boys
+Steven Dolman It's not GCN!
Watching a video that says Al better than carbon on April 1st. Hmm...
Have this bike £500 best ever spent
Thanks for posting.
Aluminium...is that some type of new metal??? I've had aluminum bikes, but never aluminium...
It's douchebags who dropped the "i", it's always been Aluminium.
You need to return to this format for bike of the year! I used to look forward to this every year, but now it’s just meh!
Such a misleading title.. Shouldn't it be ROAD bike of the year or something?
I'm sorry sir but after 1 day I got this caad12 , my carbon fork is crack , What a how good of bike of the year.......
+Carbon Bike sure !!!! I CAN , If I'm not notice them while I'm riding this bike, I can die any time on the road ...... It's not a after 1 year but
after a 1 DAY !!
common this is a cannondale best bike of the year.....
+AftershockPS3 Presumably you've spoken with Cannondale about this already? We'd be interested to hear what they say/said...
I traded a custom bike for a CAAD 9. Great handling and just takes off like a jet. Hideous paint scheme though.
bang on
Those brake cables need to be trimmed. They're giving me anxiety.
Why do people still think carbon is only about weight? Lightness is only one benefit of carbon. You can make an aluminium bike as light as carbon it just won't be as comfortable or as stiff or as well riding. And what a surprise. Cannondale again. I wonder the sponsorship agreement between them really.
Haha right, cannondale wins bike of the year all the time. That being said....I absolutely love my Supersix Evo and think it's worthy.
Fox River Sports
shit........i thought cannondale had uploaded this video...
está bien hermosa
Disc brakes pretty much top it off.
