I was a Mountain Warfare Instructor at Bridgeport for three years.
What a great assignment that was!
How long is the training that takes place there?
@@Cejo871 my information is dated, but individual classes could be ten days to six weeks long. Unit courses were generally a month long.
Went through in 2012, don't miss doing this, lost 50 pounds in 30 days. Hiking 3am to 1pm straight. Good memories though!
Marines always adapt to the training and weather especially Winter Warfare
Thank you devildogs.
I’d thrive in this environment. I lived in the mountains and snow most of my life. I got to the point that I could walk outside with just a tshirt and I was fine. This is my element
Try leading Marines who aren’t used to this element. That’s the real challenge.
Lol 😅😅😅😅
These videos are the best
Not gonna lie looks fun
Wow it must be a hard leadership training for every officer
who attend this training... Be safe every training officers!
I love you all...
Thank you all for working hard for our country !
Marines are always able to adapt and think outside the box. Ooooo-rah 🇺🇸🙏
Good going guys. Keep it up.
Good memories of climbing 9494. Semper Fidelis.
Semper Fi the Corp lives on
Marines do shit that the spec ops community do, and they do it just because it’s Tuesday, that’s why they didn’t bring the raiders back until 05-06 because they literally didn’t need them. the marines literally do everything spec ops do like mountain warfare, jungle warfare and CQC the only thing they don’t do that the spec ops community do is HVT capture or kill raids. Training for airforce pj selection here. Gotta be a special type of person to be a marine.
I had the opportunity to complete Cold Weather Training at Bridgeport, CA 1994. Hardest training there is. Mind over matter Semper Fi SSgt Gamba 0369
1991 went to Bridgeport. They can talk about Ranger school all they want. Bridgeport is no joke!
@@dorothyburry42 exactly 👍
I went through in 1988.
Went 3 times in Italy.
2 time Bridgeport survivor. 2/8 Echo company 1998 & 2001
I’m going twice in less than six months. I hate the cold field ops as an infantry marine. I hate that my mind thinks of ways to avoid Bridgeport. What can I do to thrive?
