Alot of the videos ive seen of DJs using these say they connect them to a DMX controller. But from what you said it sounds like you dont need a seperate dmx controller to run them together, is that correct? Also when you daisy chain them together does the same remote operate all the units or do you need a seperate remote for each? My main question is can you turn on and off multiple units (say 4) with the push of one button ?
How long will each bag of powder last? If you dont use all the powder in the unit, can you leave it in the unit for the next event or do you need to empty it and loose all the not used powder?
Thanks for watching. I am not sure how long the bag will last or how many full bursts you might get. You do want to poor out extra and burn off anything that remains in the chamber with the corresponding remote button. I think most people get a gig or two out of a packet with 2 machines. Mostly used for introduction or first dance and then a couple times throughout the nightnor until powder is gone.
If each spark session only lasts for about 30 seconds, how long does it take before you get spark again? If you wanted to use them for 1st dance and the client wanted the sparks for the whole song.
It doesnt take very long to be ready to go again, but I would tell the client no. Lol. Nobody does sparks for that long. They lose their dramatic effect after a short bit and if you even could have them going that long, you would distract from the couple and have a big mess. Imagine a fireworks show where they were completely the same from beginning to end. That would mean no grand finale. My 2 cents.
Hi, i do not believe we need a permit. You are supposed to have the proper insurance to use them in a venue, but my understanding is that not many do. Luckily I have not heard of any problems locally.
you sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. you explain things well.
Hey thanks, I appreciate it.
Hey I love your videos ...... in this vid I saw a small dmx stand alone controller you used to trigger off the cold sparks what was the brand of it
Thanks for watching, but i ised the remote. Any dmx unit will work.
@2:56 you used a small dmx unit that I'm interested in @@KrisSzanto
@duaneblades6309 Oh gotcha, sorry not sure what controller it is. That is footage from the Shehds website. Looks like a generic 5 or 6 ch controller.
Nice video Kris, I know this will vary but how much do you or other DJs in your area charge for a couple of these?
500-650 for 2

Thanks for watching. Actually the handful of people i know that use them know nothing about dmx. Lol. One remote works for multiple units. 👍

Do you need a permit for that where your from?

Curios if you’ve tried different type of powder for a different result
I have not yet, but I did get better results as the powder ran through the machine. As you can see in the night footage in the video.
never mix powder and machine brands. this is not safe.
Whoa, didn't know that. Thanks pal
