“I’ve been studying monsters for ten years!” He says when the dungeon has only been known of for 6 or 7 years poor Senshi when you learn his tragic backstory it’s no wonder he stayed there for so long
That dungeon was discovered by tall men 6 years ago. Senshi either started learning on his own in another place or he knew about the dungeon beforehand but him being who he is, didn't bother to tell anybody.
It's funny, in my DND game I had an NPC who was a dwarf and was also quite fond of cooking monsters. He actually cooked a baby kraken that the party had killed as a reward for them helping him get into town when his wagon broke down. The difference here is that he was a half mad duergar
I’ve eaten a couple in my life and honestly they are not too bad. Most taste like seafood or nuts but if cooked right they can have quite a range of flavors 😋 best one I had was some ants in a habanero dip.
This show really satisfy my curiosity with any fictional fantasy creatures. That are not just magical/mechanical godly beings. I can't help but try to find a sort of infos from ingame almanacs or the internet about those creatures. Finding out their habitats, diet, abilities, how they evolve, and what niche they fill the local ecosystem.
All the wonderful things that were cooked so far in the show, I’d like to try the seahorse stew and frog meat with pasta…. How about you?, mushroom foot sniffer and veggie lover! 😂
@@Xeno-The-Wanderer they do grill the meat when she is first injured. Then after she is healed she makes a stew from the water spirit and the kelpy meat along with the stinging vines, carrots, onions… and they eat. She gets her mana back
@@Xeno-The-Wanderer yes. Remember how she was shocked how delicious the stew was? I also would like to try those dumplings that changed shapes and had different fillings. That looked fun!
@@mellttabor2134 to get at least half of the variety go to a dim sum restaurant, never heard of a cheese dumpling so idk where that could be from, for the sweet one that one is probably similar to a red bean bun so go to some chinese market or restaurant and you'll probably find one. alternatively if you aren't looking for specifically dumplings look for asian buns as there's a big variety out there and they're great steamed or fried

When you watch the episode again, you'll understand the timeline doing the math 😢

Senshi is half mad himself
Ironically, I also think this show itself based on DND.
That's so cool.
@ahmadmuhaiminazeem1219 it is but it's japanese version of D&D , that's why the orcs are boar-like creatures and the kobolds are humanoid dogs
6:43 that baby orc is adorable.
Reminds me of my time playing World of WarCraft. I was horrible at it, but always provided food for the party.
I am so Senshi!
Yoo I love World of Warcraft. Happy to see fellow WOF

Obviously we couldn't get the ingredients from monsters in our world, but no doubt a spin-off cookbook would be nice!
😋😋😋😋😋
there is such a thing. Its unofficial though but still a thing.
manga spoilers
with our main characters included too 😭😭😭😭
They certainly having an interesting take on animated armor. In DnD, Animated armor are suits of armor that animated with magic.
Dragons in Delicious in Dungeon aren't intelligent either. Huge difference between DnD and DiD right there.
Actually, most people assumed as such in this show. They were just the first to discover that they were in fact living entities.
The monsters have gone from being the eaters to being the eaten. Ah, I want to eat a monster too.
Ahh, dungeon meshii
I’m actually intrigued by the bug snacks, I’ve been wanting to try actual insect dishes for a while now.

Exorcism sorbet is the funniest imo XD
Exorcism Sorbet Ice-cream.
Consumables.
Cures Heat status.
Cures Possession.
Heals 3 HP damage.
Gain +1 cold resistance for the next 300 seconds.
Also the prettiest! I'm a sucker for rainbows and colorful foods
@@Sonicsgirl13 I have to agree
... Kinda reminds me of Miyazaki movies that include cooking scenes.
Budget was very well spent here!!!
We need a cook book for this series PRONTO

Monster Hunter's Hunter Guilds would get along nicely with these guys.
At minute: 1:02. Suu: I am traumatized 😨, but fascinated at the same time😋. Suu wants to cook that delicacy, it still traumatizes me 😖
He does it properly, complete with a little saucer to taste without putting his lips on the ladle or spoon.
Ive watch this like 9 time or more and still my favorite first episode
In all seriousness, the party wouldn’t have gotten far without Senshi.
Seems it's using the subtitles for the english dub. Minor changes, but it characterises Senshi's character a bit easier.
