Beauuuutiful collection. Very subtle and full of wonderful details and craftsmanship. Don’t get me wrong : I love avant-garde too. But these garments feel actually fresh. Not done over and over and over again. The hommage to ukrainian traditions and culture came through too 💙💛
Inspired by The Handmaiden's Tale and the Spanish inquisition. Must they walk as it is menswear they are wearing? They look as if they should be wearing basketball kits, not gowns. If I am wearing a dior piece, I would have some gratification in my countenance. As for the line, I doubt the pope nor bishops dress in all the robes as such. Oh! Yes, they do! Other pieces look inspired by the Swiss guard and the guards at Buckingham. Anyhoo, there are details galore on gaudy structure that looks like you buy it from the Vaticans website. This is where cloaks are introduced to fashion. There are feminine silhouettes walked in masculine swagger which seems a contradiction of the clothing. Meh, not the best and not bad.

Where do they want to sell that? Teheran? Kabul? Those high-necked dresses with that ridiculous amount of fabric is not flattering to any woman. I’m a little bit afraid what comes in fashion for normal people during the next years. Edit: YT suggested me a documentary about Mennonits below this video. Their dresses seemed more fashionable to me. But I’m sure I’m a philistine.
A Very elegant and charming collection. It was very unique to see how modest this presentation was, absolutely refreshing.
