i believe i tried it once in a bar and wasn't keen but my palette may have changed, definitely wanna hear your thoughts on some british scratch rums, appreciate it ain't easy to get hold of them for you! Ninefolds is one that springs to mind.
We have heard that a few times!😀 It is so hard to find around our area... now I feel like we need to go hunting for it😂 thank you for the suggestion! Cheers🥃
Eldorado is the best rum in the world. You need to try the 15, 21, 25 and 50 years. I'm am Guyanese heritage no rum sweeter or better in the world. Some of the caskets are over 300 years old and still in use to making rum. I know they have 8 and 12 must have 6 too all good. Try it in a coffee with creme the 12-year-old or higher. you will be amazed. They got so many collections from 3 years aged to coconut
this was a great review..i have been waiting to see you guys do this one..i have a bottle and im trying it tonight..they have a 15 year and a 21 year old of course in rogers ballpark.lolz awesomethx for reviewing the el dorado 12
Hey Nancy thanks so much... we have been really excited to try this brand! It is so hard to find where we are but hopefully we will find the other ones soon😀 Cheers🥃
@@JustDrinkingOfficial not sure if you guys will see this but i finally got round to trying it. I love it! I found it to be a little smokier than what I'm used to (plantation, hechicera, even diplomatico) but I loved it all the same! I have it mixed with ginger ale and lime, not sure if it would be too much for me to have as a sipping rum. I typically prefer something not quite as full bodied for sipping
Oh we see you Rory! Glad you got around to trying it and even more glad you like it! It is bold and smoky for sure! A little lime does it well with this one! Thanks so much for taking the time to come back and share your experience 😎 Cheers🥃
It can definitely come off strong if you are not used to heavy bold rums. A nice smoked wood flavor. If you are looking to expand your palate with something a little less bold, but still good, try Barcelo products. Cheers!
I think anyone who drinks more of their drinks neat and come from a whiskey background would side more on Rogers side of this one. The thing we really like is the unique fruity notes and the ability to be mixed very easily... and it just looks freakin cool!!!😎
Great question! For sweet flavored rums I think Bumbu, Captain Morgan Private stock, Captain Black Spiced and Naked in Jamaica are a few that jump to mind. All sweet but not prone gut rot. If you like more natural sweetness without added sweetners try out Doc Browns Really Bad Rum and Plantation Pineapple rum are amazing as well! Every rum on here is smooth and dangerous 😎 Cheers🥃
So when it comes to fruits, you won’t find that Guyana uses foreign kinds especially like strawberries . It’ll be more toward the Caribbean or exotic ones
We do these reviews to help bring more interest to the rum world. Since rum and coke is the most common rum drink in the world we try it both on its own and mixed with diet pop. We understand their are many ways to enjoy rum other than these 2 options, including just drinking it on its own, but we hopefully are building enough interest for people to go out and try it and grow the rum community. In doing so we hope to bring more attention to underated brands and craft distillers so they can continue to grow and keep making delicious rums!😎 Thanks for the feedback😎 Cheers🥃
@@JustDrinkingOfficialI’m in Montana. Ended up buying Plantation OFTD and hopefully a college friend can get me some El Dorado cheaper in his state. If I cut Hamilton 151 ($28 locally) with water to reduce the ABV would that be a good representation of Guyana rum? May be the best option for the money given even El Dorado 5 year is over $30 here.
We definently need to do a better job of that. Thank you for bringing that up as we always are trying to get better😀 as for the tasting it, we wish we could do that!😂 Maybe someday we will find a way😎
Awesome! Good old Eldorado! Guyanese present! 🇬🇾
You guys are hilarious
Thank you so much😀 Glad to jave you watching! Cheers🥃

El Dorado any year is good but the 12 - 15 - 21 are Outstanding. Cheers guys

My country’s rum! Best paired with ginger ale to give a coconut after taste
Hey Govinda that is a great suggestion! We will definitely be trying that out. Thank you so much for taking the time to suggest that!

@@JustDrinkingOfficial I checked our BC liquor store here in BC Canada and they dont have Barcelo products. Any other suggestions?
Glad you tried it. I'm siding more with Roger on the scores but I came into rum from bourbon so it makes since

Howdy folks! Just bought it today-ain't tried this yet.
Great review Gentlemen!
Hey Wazim thank you so much😀 hopefully we just keep getting better!
It's actually really demerara rum. Other brands use the name... But they did the GI. So look for that icon on the back label
Will do, thanks!😃
I have no clue from rum - but sounds awesome - thanks guys :)
That is us and whiskey😂 but it is always fun to try some new things and expand the palate😎 Cheers🥃
Top 10 rums 2020 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
We just finished recording our top 10 last night... debut coming soon😎🥃
What are you top 3 sweet rums then as that’s what I like

Love You video there is more rum to checked out there's a lot more flavors different ones
Thank you so much! Yes so much rum we are excited to keep finding more great rums! Cheers🥃
We don't put 12yr old in mixed drinks here in Guyana. That's a sipping rum, smh.

Wow.... Y'all mixed this sipping rum with coke. 👀
Damn for us that cost $47 here in Ontario
So wild how much the cost difference is between areas! Makes hunting for rum in New areas that much more fun😎
They want $65 for this in my state…
Holy smokes! It is so crazy how it changes from state to state! Which state are you in?

@@samuelhope6817 nice plan! I am not sure how similar that would be but it would ve interesting to side by side it with Guyana rum and see😎
