wow thats some creasy pictures and a real nice video 😍
I feel your pain! There is a wood area that I have walked for the last 4 years in the winter that had in the past great grey, horned owl, barrel owl, woodpeckers and a lot of smaller birds. This year, it is as if the wood is dead!… Only a few chickadees, an nuthatches. This is it in about 40 walks… A few wildlife photographers that know in a radius of 120 miles around Montreal are reporting similar experience! Let’s hope that spring will more wildlife for everyone!
3:59 all i could think about is the Office ep of them doing parkour 😂
Hahah that’s 100% accurate
There definitely has been a lack of birds visiting the feeders this year, I don’t live too far from where you are on the mid coast. I think because we had such a mild autumn and the lack of snow in the area, natural food is plentiful so the birds don’t need to visit our backyards. I’m hoping the big snowstorm we’re supposed to get this weekend will drive the birds to the feeders.
You’re definitely right, plenty of access to seeds/berries etc. with the lack of snow cover. Happy to report chickadees, titmice, white breasted nuthatches have all found my setup. I’ll have those clips in my video this week. Stay warm
I'm glad the birds are showing up, I look forward to seeing the video. You stay warm too.
You chose a nice area. We have at least 2 nesting pairs of Piliated woodpeckers on this property. Also just about where you are at, I viewed my first Nighthawk
Funny you say that, I heard a pair out there a week ago and have been waiting for them to come back. Sounded like they were on the property next to me, but I’ve seen their holes on my dead woods. They’ll be back
And nighthawks are awesome, got to see them while I was in Texas for grad school. Hard to photograph
At least you're healthy and out there where it's quiet and peaceful. We are blessed, I have to remind myself of these things on my blank days. Besides it makes the full on action days something to celebrate. I'm enjoying your channel.
If you have a bit of natural landscape you might be able to develop for wildlife you might enjoy this guys channel

Hey Tony…couldn’t agree more. Slow days make the action days much appreciated. And yup, I love Stefano’s channel. He’s got some interesting micro climates on his property. I do have a creek running down the property, which will hopefully provide some amphibians to photograph. My property is very wet and will have a lot of cool mushroom species to photograph come the spring/summer. I’ll be sure to make videos of all that! Thanks for checking in!
Awesome and your welcome.@@liamdmcinerney
