How many AC volts does the transformer you use give? How many volts dc are you supplying the circuit?

Did you use the 2SD844 and 2SB754 transistors in your amp?

@@PedjoGT I built my first Le Monstre using onsemi outputs and it was very good, I also built the Pass F5 and JLH 1969 because of different people opinions of which was best, the Le Monstre was the third and last build, and I can only say it was just jaw dropping from the moment I turned it on. I used it like that for some months and stumbled on different older articles about Jean's original components, so went in search of the long obsolete transistors, and finally got 20 pairs, all went onto a tracer and I got my two pairs of closely matched transistors.
I changed them, made the necessary adjustments and the audio was now on another level, the soundstage width and depth, the detail and separation is beyond words. I use Altec 604-8G 98db drivers in 9cuft enclosures (Abbey Road Studio Monitors). At that point in time I stopped trying to improve anything in my system, its now time to listen to the music, and I have been doing that since.
Pedjo, as you are a DIYer, something you should consider if you are ever looking for a preamp is a DCG3 designed and shared by a guy in Greece, it is like a match made in heaven, the kits are available from time to time on Group-buys in the DIYAudio website, if you ever come to Ireland look me up and you can see/hear the setup.
Thank you for sharing your work with us, always appreciated.
