I never get the Weather working on the Etrex SE. It Always says not connected. Everything is synced. Firmeware 4.2. I got notifications, but no weather. Can't Find a solution online.
The only time I have seen this issue is if we have not allowed in our phone app permissions the explore app to have full access to location and on an android phone the option nearby devices, apologies other than checking these settings and making sure paired with the explore app and explore app running in the background there is nothing else we can think to try and would need to be a cal l to Garmin support, Kind regards GPST
If you have a PC/Mac i would go for the 32x, if not i.e. you are going to use your mobile phone to transfer route data I would go for the eTrex SE. Can you charge the batteries with the USB connector if you use a chargeable type?
