Did this wonderful scenic drive back in 2009, visiting also Heididorf, a great experience. Was nice to see it after 15 years, thanks for bringing back nice old memories, greetings from a road-tripper from Germany, keep the good videos coming.

A Pizza is good road trip food indeed!
Trip followed the 'old' road to start with, like, then goes into tunnels. There is very little scenery in tunnels, where the 'old', road is an option could be better. But its your time and fuel so thank you. Looking forward to the return trip up the old road.
100% correct, If I could go back in time, I would have taken the other road. As there is no scenery in tunnels, in general, I always try to take the more scenic roads, if available, towards the location I am driving. And sadly, I did not do the return trip through the old road. As this was near the end of my Switzerland road trip, There are only a few less scenic videos left to upload from this trip.
Kudos again for a great road trip! I am amazed how well you plan out the drive to know the various turn outs!
Lots of Google Maps research. Sometimes I miss a few things, like taking a more scenic old road instead of a tunnel. But there is also cases where roads are closed due to roadwork, or I just don't have the time or am tired, etc. but in general, I always try to plan the most scenic roads possible on my road trips.
