    I first encountered Borrowdale on the Coast to Coast HIke in 1975, I returned again 4 years later after leaving the Army when I completed the C2C from East to West. I consider it the most Peacefull and Relaxing place in the UK. Now Age 67 I am planning my final return visit next year, to once again relax and enjoy the Peacefll splendour that is Natures Wild Wonderland. Tony in Essex.

      Hi Tony, thanks for the note. You did the Coast to Coast walk, that's wonderful, and on my To Do list. I must agree with you, Borrowdale offers so much in the way of interesting walks and peaceful relaxation. The 3-4 times i've explored the area, i've encountered very few people. Enjoy your return trip! Cheers.

      My First Long Distance Path was the Pennine Way, South to North in 1974, then came the First C2C West to East in 1975 then back to the PW North to South in 1976 then I spent 3 yrs in the Army before returning to the C2C East to West in 1980. After that I took a two year break before doing the Complete Non Stop Coastline Hike of the UK in 1983/4/5. After spending a relaxing year I spent another week in 1987 back in Borrowdale thinking it would be my last visit now I am getting older, But NO I am now planning another hike next year to celebrate my first full year of getting the State Pension trying some of the shorter hikes in the Lake District, maybe a South to North route. I have also hiked over the Hardknott /Wrynose Passes with a 30kg backpass and a shorter Coast to Coast along Hadrians Wall.@@SimonBurnCreative

    Fantastic to see that walk again Simon. Thats a great little campsite down the track behind the Cafe on your walk from Grange. I love that view just past Castle Cragg over the valley. Awesome.

    So many beautiful parts to this video Simon. I especially love the Castle Crag, the hyper lapse shots and of course the "resting" sequence :D. Thanks for another great piece of work mate.

    Like the new format , looks like a great walk, mind you, yet to find a bad one i the Lakes. Some nice B roll in there with the timelapse etc and a great soundstage . Enjoyed that Castle Crag looked a nice location and like the image you got from there, really like the image at 4:04 , the layers and the light work really nicely together, great image that !

      Cheers Lee! You are correct, photography in the Lake District is like shooting fish in a barrel compared to what we have in the South-East. 😁

    Hmmm... I suspect a bit of jiggery pokery was involved in the making of this video. Unless they are well ahead of us oop north. 😄 I like the format Simon.

      Oooh, I don't do jiggery-pokery. I don't even know what that means.

    • @SimonBurnCreative
      @SimonBurnCreative  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, there was some jiggery-pokery, I get what you meant now. 😎

    Why do you need a tripod?

    • @SimonBurnCreative
      @SimonBurnCreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is a good question! It allows me to do long exposures, multiple exposures for blending, and for shooting video footage (time lapse etc).
