Ken i totally agree. You dont have to quit your job. The idea of quitting sounds flawed to me especially when the investor will be relying on leverage to carry them for a while. Having a job is essential for the vast majority of the people for so many reasons in this economy. Especially, when jobs is the economic vehicle that helps fuel this economy and make it possible for others to pay for our rental realestate. However, I do believe the strategy to include rentals as a part of ones (worker) investment portfolio is a great idea in aiming for financial freedom... Quiting your job, should only be a personal preference.....

Thanks for saying you don’t have to quit your job. Everyone talks about how fast you can quit your W2. Most don’t talk about how the W2 can help you gain more properties and build your portfolio.

I am in my mid-40s and my net worth is $3.2 million and I feel poor. 1 bedroom condos in my neighborhood in Boston literally start at $1 million. In NYC they start at $2 million. I’ve always lived in those cities so I feel like I live in a bubble where everyone lives in condos in the millions. It’s funny listening to Denile say her financial advisor told her $1 million was a retirement goal. You’re only going to yield $40k/year income net of inflation on $1 million invested. That wouldn’t even cover my dinner bills. I would say in any of the top coastal cities you need minimum $5 million of investable assets to even live a moderate lifestyle.

Don’t understand why Danielle does not wear a professional attire and make up for this videos. Looks like she just got out of the gym or she is doing laundry. Ken always so professional.
