If you heat the rice in a 140° oven for 90 minutes it will prevent the rice tiny black bugs. I'm thinking about using salt instead of sand. Maybe a bag of small smooth pebbles.the plastic or glass beads sound expensive. But my BIG BABY IS WORTH IT. Her name is Faith Ann Grace😊😆😁
Salt is an interesting choice! If you stuff the doll with just rice, you can heat it in the microwave and use it as a heating pad! Thanks for sharing!🥰
OMG I was wondering lol. Thank you so much. I'm trying to do my research before I make the jump
If sand and/or stones are used, can a plushie not go in the washer machine?
I personally wouldn't put anything weighted in the washing machine.
@@HomeEcSewing ok thank you
Can i use sand in vinyls doll? And if i use sand Will it get a mold?
I'm not sure about vinyl dolls, as that is not my niche; however, I know people who make "reborn" dolls (vinyl) exclusively use glass beads.
