Exciting news - the "rod knock" you hear isn't rods after all - the plastic torque converter shield was rubbing! Short work with tin snips and it's beauty. Oh, and the propensity to wheelspin is straight up stoopid.

That's the hope. And local hill climb. And local drag strip. As of this writing, I'm just driving it to and from work, working through "teething."
