I am really really curious as a non SA viewer are new brides still expected to do chores or is it done out of habit. The last time I saw something similar among my people/networks was as a teen over 2 decades ago. My family literally hires caterers or village women who cook for gathering's to do the cooking serving etc.. we had a thanksgiving ceremony two weeks after 2 relatives got married and their wives did not lift a finger because there was a catering team to handle all of that. The beautiful dress code also fascinates me coz we show up in whatever we want as long as it's decent respectful of the environment one is going to. So you can literally turn up in jeans and smart top if you want and it suits the occasion. This vlog and the one where you went to Eswatini and had to find a place to change into a dress really fascinated me about your culture and expectations of a new bride. I love seeing how different African cultures do things
