After some time you will feel reduced impact of ketu dev. The harsh effect of ketu is because it us burning off the past bad karma of life and ketu does this very brutally . So impact is sometimes very very drastic. But be patient and remember " Upar wala jab kuch bada dena chahta hota tbhi apka kathin imtehaan leta hai. So don't feel sad ,stay strong and positive . Its true that shukra is markesh in mesh lagna but 2nd and 7th house also represent many other things like dhan yog, voice, sanchit dhan, family background, promotions, business, spouse and lot more. So markesh getting activated depends on longevity information from the chart. Its not always that 2nd or 7th house will get markesh activated. In a way i agree to your point that the ancient thing cannot be considered as myth and any good discussion can never be offensive. We all exchange knowledge from each other. The day I am not open to discussion or new learning will demean my knowledge. The point I was trying to make was that history also has its limitation and its based on documentation of few historians. am currently in KMD from last year, and full on effects started 2 yrs back with sudden lungs and heart problem all of a sudden and then everything got affected in life, friends all went far, sibling lost contact, parents health issues started, bosses are scolding even though had done a very good job and about to lose job soon, no satisfaction in anything, also stomach issues one after other, severe sinus issues, severe joint pains like knee pain and jaw joint pain and hip joint pain etc etc, and there is lots... plus am already in late 30s and a woman and single, this is another big challenge....
I have just finished Ketu Mahadasha last month. Don't worry surrender completely to God. Let things happen. Do spiritual things more.

In a way i agree to your point that the ancient thing cannot be considered as myth and any good discussion can never be offensive. We all exchange knowledge from each other. The day I am not open to discussion or new learning will demean my knowledge.
The point I was trying to make was that history also has its limitation and its based on documentation of few historians.
The so called mythological stories and textures we have known so far means a lot more than historical documents. 🙏🏼

Ketu influence via dasha or so will mainly get a disease detected which might be there from past dasha or so and can get to hard treatments like surgery or long term hospitalization etc..
It can suddenly derail the daily routine in its dasha.
