  • Imagine settling into bed in Hawaii and hearing a strange, piercing chorus that isn't from birds but from tiny frogs. In this 3-minute podcast, we'll dip into the world of coqui frogs, the small invaders with a surprisingly loud voice that chirps through the night, challenging one's sleep and the island's fragile ecosystems.
It's all part of the ecological and financial toll of invasive species. In the U.S., efforts to manage these unwanted guests exceed an estimated $120 billion annually.
